    Hysterectomy and Bypass Surgery

Hi there, I had a full hysterectomy last year Nov, its worst surgery ever. I would not recommend having them together. I had my GS 5 years and recovery was straightforward. I have been suffering from reflux and last year was told to have the revision but told to wait until I used the hysterectomy first as it was such a big operation . 2. Hi all, I had my sleeve done in 2014, lost 7.5 stone and gained 2-3 stone's back. I have been advised to have the bypass due to severe acid reflux. So I'm thinking of having a revision so I welcome this postand your thoughts. I don't see to much stuff on the successes of having a revision. I'm told by surgeon my weight lost will be slow due to the fact that must of my excess weight 75% had been lost when I had the sleeve, so my starting position is different, he says I'm likely to lose the weight I've regained maybe a little more not that much around 45-50Ibs which is ok by me. I'm interest to find out how much people have lost in 6 -12 months of having a revision from sleeve to bypass. Sent from my SM-T580 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Treadmills

Hi there, you are better off outside as the ground is not flat, working against the gradient, less likely to get bored and you find outside your body will want to walk faster. Before you know power walking will then jogging and lead to running. I tend to burn more calories walking outside. Sent from my SM-T580 using BariatricPal mobile app

Lovely facial bone structure. Welcome for your achievement so far.
  9. When you have to take a double take at your reflection is glass window, because don't recognise yourself.
  10. The reality is WLS surgery is a tool, whether someone diets or have weight surgery they can still can put on weight if they don't manage their food intake and exercise. Yes people do rush into having the surgery without thinking the long term. It took me 7 years before deciding to have surgery because I wanted to try other diets and see if I could lose weight myself. The person who started this thread I'm sadden by your weight gain, only because the problem is not the weight surgery the problem is that you have not manage or learnt how to maintain and adjust to the new lifestyle 3 years on. The thing is you will see have make changes if you dieted on something else. You should take strength in the comments from this thread and start with a fresh. No point in being angry with regrets, live with it, learn from your experience and move on. Everyone one experience is different thank god!

    Popping Bones!

My knees crackle and pop a lot especially after exercising when I run. I am given Calcium tablets for my bones by my doctor. Maybe you might need a bone supplement. Good luck.

What do you guys think I'm doing wrong?

Hi there Veronica, I have just read your post. If your working out with that intensity you must look at increasing your calorie intake to another 200, working out to that level will get your body to stall, also you are building muscle mass which will also get the scales to stall or. slow down your weight lost. So increase your calories to healthy stuff and make sure you drink more water and see what happens in the next 3 weeks.
