  1. I understand where you are coming from, yesterday I had 3 small chocolates as a treat for Christmas and a very small glass of champagne. I'm nearly 11 weeks out. I was aware what I was eating and recorded what I ate on MFP and reminded myself while I was eating the chocolate why I started this journey. Today I will be off to the gym to work it off. I'm sure I will eat chocolates again but today I'm very much aware of what I'm fuelling my body and try not to get into those bad habits every day.

    post op 7 days pizza

Hi all, I wanted to chew on certain foods at the early stages (on the liquid diet)., chewed on meat such as chicken breast for a couple of minutes then threw if out because I wanted a chewing sensation in my mouth. It's normal, don't worry just protect your sleeve... X
  5. Wow - you look amazing you must be so proud... Well done. You started off the same size as me 21 stones. Can I ask how tall you are??
  6. The hunger really does go sway. I was hungry 3 day's after surgery to nearly a week. I drank water and milk to hold back the feeling of being hungry. Feeling hungry does go away, it 's just your body getting use to fewer calories. Try making your own smoothie's which will help you fell fuller.

1 month post op and kind of struggling

Hi angelamarie374, I am having the same problem. I can only manage 500 - 800 calories daily. And I exercise 45 minutes for 4 days per week. I know my calories intake is low and I have tried this week to up my calorie intake by having whey Protein shakes, homemade Soups with Marvell ( power milk), cheese with mash potatoes or puree vegetables. I do vomit but I think its because my stomach can't handle certain foods and also vomit when I eat fast. . I know my stomach with settle in the forthcoming weeks or months so I'm not going to great to stressed on my calories intake for first 1-2 months. My weight lost for this week was just a 1Lb which is result of my low calories intake.
  8. Hi all, for myself I have whey chocolate shakes, cheese or cottage cheese with mash potatoes or puree vegetables, scrabble eggs for Breakfast or oats/porridge with lots of homemade Soups with Marvel. I exercise - 4 days per week for 45 minutes.

    When was your second stall?

I am coming up to week 5 and I think my weight lost is starting to slow down. I think its because I'm not having enough calories 500 - 750 is pretty low. I know I need to up the calories to at least 900 - 1000 per day, drink more Water and keep exercising, hopefully I should see more movement on the scales. Good luck.
  10. Hi there Tashabella, The incision varies per person which is dependent on size of your body, some surgeons might need get access to your stomach and intestines and made more incisions as a result. I only had 4 incisions for my sleeve.
  11. Hi there Jodie S, for myself I was sleeved on 15 Oct 14, weighing in at 18 stone 10. Nearly month's later I'm down 2 stones down to 16. 10Ibs. well just over 2 stones. My progress has been extremely good. Moving around a lot but waiting enough protein at the moment but working on it.
  12. I had difficulty in peeing at first but I did have the urge to pee but my muscles would not allow it. Apparently its something to do with the type of anaesthetic given which slows down the responses to the bladder. I walked a lot 2 hours after surgery which helped a great deal. I also found when I don't drink enough Water and don't go to toilet (loo).
  13. Wow- I love the transformation.
  14. Fishing nurse, I wanted to know do you exercise and how many calories do you each day to maintain your current weight.
