I really hate to see some of the things that have been said in this thread. So, to those wondering about my Drs appointment I said question a revision. I just wanted my Drs opinion, although I enjoy talking to ppl on here. It's all opinions and personal thoughts. My DR said he has had a few stretch their pouches but not many in 20 years. Told me to go back to the basics. Protein first always then Veggies, no carbs. Carbs make you fat and keep you fat. Told me if my sleeve wasn't "working" he hated that term. That I wouldn't be up 30, I woulf be up 100. Just thought some it you would like to know. Thank You for the positive msgs. I actually did have this, didnt go to the ER, but if it would have lasted much longer I would have. I finally figured out that I cant eat anything with a granola type bar since my sleeve. I get horrible gas and gas pains. No idea why, and it toom me awhile to figure out what it was. But it has definetly keep me away from them now. Just saw your picture, hope you got in touch with your primary or surgeon. Looks like you should be on some antibiotics. I had that with my hystetectomy and they said it was cellulitis and put me on antibiotics oral and topical.

I've noticed online that a lot of people the have had the sleeve and have GERD get revisions to bypass. Maybe its more for mechanical reasons, not to lose weight I think you need to get the second opinion and go from there.

So funny to find this today. Last night I noticed I was very aware of my stomach/sleeve. I could feel my heart rate there and it seemed like thick there. Just different. No pain. I'm 2 years out and I was curious about this. I'm so glad you posted.

All these posts are the proper way but, I guess I didn't have the discipline needed which is why I guess I was so overweight. I went to my family practice doctor and he prescribed me weightless medication that allowed me to lose 30 pounds before my surgery. I am headed to the same result. I was sleeved 12/1/14. I lost 25 lbs then stopped. I even went back to 2 protein shakes s day and 1 meal. I dont gain but dont lose. Its heartbreaking. Im not going to go more extreme to a bypass, thats just too extreme for me. Ive bern told I dont eat enough, I eat too much. Not matter what I do Im pretty much stuck where Im at. So, I understand your feelings, have no answers for you. But can say, I feel your struggle.

I never was one to say I was taking "the easy way out" however, I really truly thought the weight would fall off the first 6 months then I would have to start the physical part. Shame on me!!!!! I am 4 mos out and I have lost almost 30 pounds. Why??? Because Surgery does not cure Lazy. I should be way further in my progress and Im the one that stopped it. Take my mistake and learn from it. All the changes you make post surgery, make your commitment to exercise part of it. You have to exercise, deal with it. Lazy=Fat take it first hand.

Well Im not on pain meds but....I so feel your frustration. I was sleeved 12/01/14 and lost 20 pounds real quick, then it just stopped. I get my protein in, drink lots of water and nothing. Im not gaining, but not losing. I know this wasn't much help to you, but wanted you to know your not alone with this.

Had both surgeries same time. Had gerd prior jo matter what I ate while on prilosec, post surgery was a breexe, no heartburn since. Im 4 mos post op

This sounds like alot of fun, are you going to meet up somewhere or do an excursion together? ? I live in Florida and would love this I was sleeved 12/1/14. Did you mention it on the facebook page??
