    New Here!

I had the band for 10 years and just had it removed and had the sleeve. Much happier with the sleeve. My dr. Actually does not do bands anymore because her patients have had so many problems with them.
  2. I had my band removed and sleeve done on Dec 15. The incision from my port removal was the largest and most painful but it was not that bad. One week post I was off of all pain meds. Now at 17 days post I have no pain. I am so much happier with the sleeve and would not go back for any reason. Good luck!!!

    Early period?

Same thing here mine came within a couple days of surgery which was about 10 days early.
  4. I had my band for 10 years but it started causing issues about 6 years in. I had it removed on December 15th and had vsg done at the same time. So far so good and much happier with how eating feels. Lots of scar tissue had caused the band to slip and over restrict my eating.
