  1. I recently had the same problem. A slight unfill did the trick. I didn't have to have a total unfill. DO NOT EAT SO CLOSE TO YOUR BEDTIME!!! I had gotten back into doing that and that is not good. Wisegrl I hear ya about the cup at your bedside that was me all night long, the slight unfill did the trick and I am doing okay so far...it has been about a week now.

  2. Hello all! I am DeeDee and I live in Georgia. I am 37 years old , single , with no kids. I have a bulldog named Tramp and a cocker spaniel named Lady. I am really loving my band. I also love this sight. I am grateful to all of you who motivate and share your struggles. I have recently got off of my butt and started to exercise( Thank you Telly). Looking forward to chatting with everyone. I am a medical laboratory technician working on my bachelors in biology. I eventually want to get a masters degree in public health. PEACE AND BLESSINGS!!

  3. Just saw this but Telly, girlfriend you are the BOMB!!! I love your determination! I say you can do it! With all that working out you will do it. Work this band girlfriend!! You have encouraged me to do the same. You were just what I needed this morning! I am with you 100%, say goodbye to those Haters cause you are brushing that dirt off of your shoulders!! Like my signature says"

  4. I have had all kinds of scales. The most expensive one was $120.00

The one I bought from Wal-Mart was $19.99 and it came with the Denise Austin work out CD. It is VERY accurate. In fact it is digital like the one in my Doctor's office and it matches his every time! It even matches the digital scale they use on the cardiac floor at the hospital where I work. Oh and it also measures body fat percentage and Water hydration.

  5. The Best Me( Kathy). I knew that it was in Proverbs but I couldn't remember the chapter. Thank you for that. Dody, I am with TommyO . Remember who you"work" for. Name calling is cruel and uneccesary calling someone a troll is just not nice. We are all adults here and know how to control ourselves. Sometimes you have to realize that people are reading everything you say and the respect that they have in you fades day by day. Don't respond to the negatives. I read one of the members profiles and it was interesting what her hobby was, and if that is what she enjoys doing then you all are making her day!

I had been gone for a while because I saw so much tragedy in the past few months. Life is to precious to waste arguing with people who just wants to argue. Might I suggest when someone posts something you don't like and it infuriates you to no end, step away from your Pc/laptop and hug your babies. If you don't have children go and play with your pets. Go make Soup for someone who is sick, call an old friend you haven't heard from in a while. Heck, take a walk around the neighborhood.

What I am trying to say is that life is too short for bickering. You probably will never meet these people. Enjoy your family, friends and LIVE life to the fullest. To sum it up something I learned in kindergarten say it with me please, " Sticks and Stones may Break My Bones But Names Will Never Harm Me".

  6. I will tell you from experience I have slowed down with all of the eating out. I used to eat out with friends every Friday. I do not know what my band will allow from day to day. The first 6 months I could not eat rice(which I absolutely love) now that rice is not a big problem bread is now DEADLY:duh: the first 6 months bread was a breeze. I have had an "episode' where I could not move or talk until whatever I ate went down or PB'd itself back up. Just use caution. Start with a Soup as an appetizer when you get to the stage of regular foods. Not only will the warmth open you up a bit and relax your band, PB episodes will be lest likely considering you chew, chew, chew. Hope this helps.

  7. I am a medical lab tech but here is my two cents. I think that it is the fever. Pain from you neck to your ankles in waves is it like an ache? Your whole body fights off infection so your white cells are attacking any bacteria in your body. The antibiotics that you are taking is not only fighting infection but unfortunately it also kills off some of the good bacteria or normal flora that your body functions with day by day. The aching pains that your are having will go away when you get the antibiotic or whatever they gave you in your system good. I have lupus and I ache sometimes really bad. I find that rubbing tea tree oil on the spot where it aches helps a whole lot. Hope I have provided some insight or help.

  8. Yeah!!! Photonut you are a great motivator and you really are a sweet person. When I was gone I figured nobody would really miss me but you PM'd me to see what was up. I really needed that, just to know that someone actually missed me was really nice. U and Paula are two people that have really been supportive of me. You have done wonderful with your band and even passed me. Now you have inspired me to get my butt back in gear. Smooches!!! and Big hugs!!!!!

  9. Hey Jenna I want some marshmallows! Unfortunately they don't agree with my band.:focus: It is everyone's right to speak freely about anything they want to. On the other hand it is not right to demean someone for their beliefs, non beliefs etc and that goes both ways. This is a great sight I love coming here. I do see alot of uneccessary posts that I find quite offensive. I ignore them and do not respond as I do with things in my day to day living. I believe that the moderators do a great job. It is hard to know when to draw the line but when that line is on fire someone has to put it out. There are some posters on here that love to start stuff. I had not posted in a while but I read postings everday, well almost everyday. If you take a break from posting and just read through alot of the posts you find a pattern with some people those people you ignore. I suggest that people do this from time to time just take a break from posting but still support the board with PM's to the newbies. You never know how much you talk until you shut up is what my grandma always says. lol. Alex thank you for this site, I stumbled upon this site when I went to search about my band last year. I think it is still the best place for support, good and bad.

  11. A woman walks into a pharmacy and asks the pharmacist for some cyanide. The pharmacist inquires why she needs the cyanide, she replies so I can kill my husband. The pharmacist is in awe and says," that is against the law, I cannot give you that." Just then the woman hands him a photo of her husband and the pharmacist's wife having sex, he took one look at the photo and said oh I'm sorry I didn't know you had a prescription... LOL

  12. This is not warped , this is scary. I am so Glad that I have a relationship with God in that no matter how I die I will be with him forever in beautiful, peaceful, gun-free Heaven. With that said here is my reading. "You are the victim of a home robbery and are shot in the head several times at point blank range while you're asleep."

I thought this would be fun to do but it was scary.

  13. Laura, be sure and ask for an HCG quantatative pregnancy test. I work in the lab and this is the test that actually tells how far along you are. If you are pregnant and it is very, very early(like 2 weeks) the blood test HCG qualitative(tells only neg or pos) will most likely be neg. You want the one that can tell you the weeks pregnant(quantitative). If this test (quantitative ) is less than 2 you are not pregnant. Just some professional advice!!! I also posted on your other post..congrats on the onederland!!
