I went in for my fourth and hopefully final fill. I think this one is it. I have already lost 2 lbs since the fill on Yesterday. I know it is because I am on liquids. I am now at about 44 lbs gone. I love this band. I am glad everyone is doing great!

My water weight usually starts the week before. I gain about 6 lbs. Then the week of my cycle I lose the six plus another pound or two. I do this every month.

Erin I am so sorry for what you had to endure these past months. I know that you feel defeated but you can do it. There are a few bandsters that have lost their bands and they are fighting the good fight to continue losing weight. The band is just a tool but it does require a decent amount of discipline. I have faith in you. You will not gain the weight back and you WILL lose the other 50lbs. Keep visiting this site. Vent, Vent , vent and vent some more. Then after you can't vent anymore do the dang thang!!! Show yourself that you can do this. We are here for support , God Bless you!

Okay! My hair dresser is my best friend and I have hair extensions! I use a spray that keeps the wavy look and it has extra shine booster in it. My hair is short in the back and layered all over so we incorperated the wavy locks in. My hair color is brown like a medium brown. It is not dyed. When I was diagnosed with Lupus in 95 all of my hair fell out because of medicine. It grew back wavy and a medium to light brown go figure and it never changed.

I am still getting used to accepting me for who I am. I finally dusted off the digital camera and took my own close -ups. I have sturgy weber's oslo rondeau a conginital birth defect. The doctor's say that because my mom took some kind of nausea medicine for 6 months of her pregnancy it may have had something to do with it. The medicine I don't know the name is the same that caused some children to be born with no arms and legs. I am so blessed that I came out fully functioning it could have been worse. So I realize now that this is what people see everyday when they see me so why not share with all the great people on this sight. To know me is to love me! Oh yeah I never stop smiling even when I was dealing with all of my esteem issues I kept on smiling! LOL. Here it goes.

Okay I am close to 3cc's in a 4cc band. I drank the water in the office and felt it. I think this is it! I am going to eat my soup now and I will let ya'll know how it goes!!

I had my fill today! I have almost 3cc in my 4cc band. I drank the water in the office and felt a little more restriction. I have a feeling that this is it. Dr. Kent hits my port everytime. I am gonna eat some soup in a minute and I will definitely let ya'll know if I feel a difference! Say a prayer!

KIm about that Gazelle do you like it? I was thinking about getting one! Oh yeah I see the exercise ball and I have it in my mind that I am too big for that. Does the exercise ball have a weight requirement?

Okay Paula I will. I have had my share of them believe me. This is so totally different but I have my guard up. You are so sweet for caring. I went to the grocery store today and got hit on again! I think because I have finally accepted myself I have a completely different attitude and evidently it is attracting men. Oh yeah and I had a woman hit on me the other day, that was weird but she was very nice. OH well thanks to you guys! Man ya'll rock!

Whippledaddy...What can I say? Beautifully written. I miss my dear Max( 3/01) and I know he is playing with Mr. WHipple he loved other dogs. I too agree with your sentiment..I want to be a good dog too. Amazing the love they give to you unconditionally. I need another kleenex. Thank you for sharing your loss. No Debbi unfortunately I don't participate in the exercise thing. We pay about 15 dollars a month to join and we use the same equipment they use. It is cardiac rehab. Treadmills , an elliptical machine and a bike or two. I need to have more options so I have to figure out if I am going to the Ywca or a private gym. Great Kristi I pray this is it!

Well I think he is the one! I have talked to him everyday since we met on last thursday! I feel all giddy inside when he talks to me. I am from the south but he has this southern drawl and it is sexy!!!! He calls me sugah all the time and I used to think that stuff was sappy but when he says it I grin like a chessy cat! LOL I really think I love him! I have never felt this way before! Man!!!

This thread is deep!! Ain't it grand to live in a country where we can agree to disagree! In high school I was in accelerated classes. There were alot of really smart kids I mean SMART that chose to be non-conformists. I asked one of the braniacs what exactly did that mean( I was 14 years old). I will never forget what he said it has stuck with me all of this time. He said I will not be what society says I should be. I will not look like what society has said I should look like. I will not be conformed to any identity that society deems acceptable. I thanked him for the insight and posed this question, what society was he speaking of. He never answered me. To each his own. I care about my appearance and I like to be clean, neat and well groomed. If you choose to be the exact opposite then that is your choice. At least we live in a country where we have that...choices!!!

Thanks you guys!! I am really emotional. I came to this site seeking help with lapband issues and I received so much more. I finally felt acceptance through each and every post. I mean everybody has some issue that they have to deal with. Some of us only have the weight issues but there are others of us that have so many other things that are hidden behind the weight issue. I realize that my weight was only the tip of the iceberg. Now I have tackled the next self acceptance. Guess what when I took those pictures that very day I met a great man! He told me I was and angel, lol. I mean I met the man I will probably marry! He and I have alot in common and he said that he already loves me cause it hit him hard. LOL This stuff only happens in the movies and only to Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts. He asked did I believe in love at first sight and I said No, his response while he was looking directly into my eyes was, well maybe because you don't see what I see because I see love when I look at you. He is so sweet! Man things are looking up.

Hey Debbi! I work in the hospital lab in Brunswick so needles are my living. I still don't like being stuck with one though, lol. I know I enjoy going to the Doctor's office they are so wonderful the staff is great and very helpful. You have done a great job Debbi keep it up girlfriend!!!

I for one was conditioned by my mother. I was heavy all of my life always the fat girl. I also had a birth defect that had one side of my face with a port wine stain and slightly larger than the other. My mother dressed me to the nines. I always had 3 weeks worth of new school clothes before I repeated an outfit. I think in her young mind she was taking attention away from the ' problem areas' and trying to replace them with positive things. I was always known as a great dresser, had shoes for days( still do). I started wearing make-up to camoflauge the birthmark at age 15. The discovery that boys were no longer stupid but cute increased the effort to look flawless. I have a problem with overweight people not taking care of themselves. I mean in appearance. I know that most of the time it is low self esteem, I mean some think why dress up mess. YOu have to understand that you are not what you see in the mirror, you are so much more. I see the before and after pictures where some people look like they just threw on anything that they had in the closet. They didn't wear make-up and didn't even iron the clothes or had stains on them even. Food stains more that likely lol( Just joking). Then the after shot shows them smiling, with make-up nice outfit. Yes your after picture looks great, of course you lost weight but then again you are smiling, dressed nicely and either the hair or make-up has been done. I think all of you on this sight are beautiful people. I put my picture up because I feel great about myself for the first time in my life. I have a weight problem yes but I had more of a self esteem problem because of my birth defect. I don't anymore. I tell all of my family that my lapband family is a God send to me. Yes we are Fat( but not for long), but we have done something about it. We are all beautiful, and loved by somebody. Trish You are beautiful I saw the before pic with your husband. If I were in Colorado girlfriend we would be shopping right now. Getting the hair done and all. We would have a ball. I make shopping fun! I am a true big gurl though I shop at the food court too. LOL

I love shoes period. I have gone down a shoe size and a half. I am back to what I wore in high school. I still have a big foot though. LOL I have about 150 pair of shoes. When I was 336lbs the only thing I could fit was shoes so I bought them. Luckily for me my mom wears my old shoe size so she is stylin' in her cute shoes as she calls them. Oh yeah I am also into the cute tops that show a little cleavage. Ha Ha but I know I am gonna have to get them puppies worked on in about 6 months because I am getting a little droopy. LOL
