It is feeling like life is normal again. I have stopped losing I think but am happy where I am setting. I do weigh myself every morning and I seem to sit in a 3 pound range. I find that I can eat a bit more and I do like a bite or two of something sweet. My stomach still fusses some. Two days ago, I enjoyed a small pear - let me clarify, my mouth REALLY enjoyed that pear; my tummy was not on the same page. Niquee: There have been a couple of days where I just had Water and Protein shakes to pull back on what I was eating and regain my strength. Lylabelle: I never could find yall on Facebook.

My anniversary is next Tuesday. It is hard to believe a year has gone buy! I am down 70 pounds and might like to drop another 5 but I am really satisfied where I am. I am off the BP meds and I just feel terrific. I have been taking yoga classes twice a week and dog walks most days. Now that spring is here, I seem to be mowing too. It has been amazing how much more energy I have and how much better I feel. I got a great report from my doctor and am cut loose till next year. I have not considered plastic surgery although, I have bought a couple of fancy bras to keep the girls where they need to be. There is so many more options for clothing now too. Before, it didn’t take that long to look at all the offerings in my size. Now, I can spend several hours in one store! I am still cold all the time and my co-worker told me I had to throw that before sweater away. It is still in good shape but is clearly too big and my arms are not 3 inches shorter as that sweater would lead you to believe. LOL It is great to read how everyone is doing!

Any May 20th surgeries out there?

It is hard to believe we are almost a year down this path! I got to go hiking and biking some this month and it was so much easier without all those extra pounds. I am looking forward to spring and summer (except for the mowing part). ~Suzzann -

I wish my mouth and my tummy liked the same things. Most of the time they agree but this afternoon.....

Same. I have had to stop buying them. I did buy some of the quest vanilla protein powder. I have added it to a few things to make them "better bads"

Liquid Diet Begins 2/19
Suzzann replied to soon2besleeved's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wish I had gotten an immersion blender before I started the pre-diet. It sure make whipping up a Protein shake fast and lump free with minimum cleanup. Good luck! You can do it! -
Day 1 of my 2 week pre-op liquid diet
Suzzann replied to StephanieM's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was allowed these Isopure (no carb vanilla and very low carb chocolate and strawberry) I have not tried the Bariatric Advantage although it was on the approved list. I wish I would have bought an immersion blender when I started. Lumpy Protein shakes are not so great. So many of the Protein Shakes are made to help people gain weight and muscle etc. Hang in there. It is just a couple of weeks and it will be so awesome on the other side! You CAN do this!!! -

Wow Icanmakeit! That is awesome! I think I may need to start journaling my food. Any special tips to share?
-
Oh Niquee. That is more than a bit unsettling! You are going to have to keep us informed!

They do Cool Sculpting (http://www.coolsculpting.com) around here which looks to be similar. The lady at the spa place thinks highly of it but I know she is biased. I have really not considered any of those body things at this time but I been thinking more about my face. Losing the weight is making a few of my smile lines (I don't have wrinkles!) a bit more prominent.

About gone here too. =) Other parts are also disappearing. Seems like I need a smaller bra every other month too.

I would like to know too.

There are some foods that my tummy just does not care for and too much of a bad thing (**think cookie**) really makes my tummy fuss. And when did my tummy get such a voice?

Sorry to hear you had the flu! I have been fortunate and have not gotten sick. I am really not sure what is ok to take and what isn't. I have been taking the generic zyrtec but that is about it. What did the Nyquil do to you? Before, it would help put me to sleep, but I have not had any yet.
