  1. I was just thinking the same thing. I went back to work today and hardly anyone said anything, but they knew I had the surgery. I'm down a total of 24 lbs., started at 266. I feel thinner, but I guess not enough to be completely noticeable. It just makes me more determined to keep working towards my goal weight!! Kudos to you for losing so much!
  2. Haven't been using straws, was told to stay away from them also. It mostly happens when I eat something. It doesn't really bother me, but I return to work tomorrow and I don't want to be burping the whole day. Lol

Lack of Energy Or Just Lazy?

I feel your pain! I had surgery on 9/8 as well and my energy is definitely not where it used to be. Even though my energy isn't there, I make myself exercise every day (except Sunday, that's my break day). I've been walking an hour, which is 3 miles a day. Even though it's a chore, make yourself do it. Once I do it, I do feel energized. I also can't do the protein shakes any longer, so I've been eating foods rich in protein. I'm thinking the lack of energy will go away when I can eat normal food again!
  4. I'm 4 weeks post-op and have lost 18 lbs since surgery yay! The only issue I'm having is that I constantly burp. Is anyone else having this problem? The nurse said I'm taking in too much air, but I'm not sure how to prevent this.
