Was just approved this week for surgery!  SO EXCITED!!!  I can't wait to start this new chapter of my life!  I think it was meant to be...Dr submitted for approval a week ago.  Happened to have a follow up appointment after my EGD.  No response from insurance.  Was standing at the nurses desk when the fax from the insurance company came in with approval!!  Meant to be!!  My surgery is scheduled for November 10!  I have been overweight to varying degrees my entire life.  Although I have never let my weight hold me back from doing what I want in life, I just turned 44 this year and I vowed to be in a different place by my 45th birthday!  I've tried some pretty stupid diets to lose weight and I think this will be the smartest thing I've done!  Healthy me, here I come!
