Nicky and miss bea. I was sleeved the 29th. No nausea or vomiting I am happy to report. Glad for this forum. I am learning a lot by reading. Slept a lot after leaving the hospital. Only day 9 out from surgery. Good luck to everyone. Remember, " the urge to quit is the signal that something great is about to happen. "

    Who Are You Telling?

Hi fellow teachers. It is good for me to read your posts. I have told no one at school and don't intend to. Our school environment is very toxic. . I am one week post op and trying to figure everything out as to classroom eating. ( it will mostly be protein drinks, so that won't be an issue) this is my retirement year and I am already going through withdrawal. Lots of life changes. Thanks for listening.

    Hi I'm a Newbie

Hi. I'm new too. Just had my sleeve 9/29/14. One week out. No nausea or vomiting. But my stamina is zero. Getting my protein and fluids in. Out of work two more weeks, then the real challenge begins. Good luck to those approaching surgery. I'm from New England, USA.
  8. Congratulations. You look fabulous.

    Feeling sad :(

Sorry for your experience. Were you required to use this doc. Look elsewhere, sometimes it just isn't a good fit. Hang in there. I just had my sleeve done and know the road ahead will be bumpy. Use the support here to help you get through it. Taking care of you is always a good thing.
  10. Hi I too am new to this type of communication, though I am very comfortable with computers. I had my VSG in Boston on Sept 29, 2014. As I experience recovery, I have the added issue of a need for knee replacement ASAP. Walking is barely accomplished to get me to the bathroom. It is frustrating. It will be nice to read others posts and experiences. I have joined an evening support group in another city that meets once a month closer to my home. I think I need all the support I can get, and I think this will help with daily and weekly thinking. Looking forward to hearing success stories. CANOEINNH
