Thanks. I have read that article and it always makes me feel better. I should be ok. I don't have any major health problems like diabetes or high blood pressure. I am following my pre-op diet like its life or death. I've lost 15 pounds in a week so far! And my doctor performs at a center of excellence and had done about 2000 surgeries with no deaths. I just need to keep reminding myself of this and stop thinking about the negative.

Yeah, he kept saying stuff like that throughout his whole article. I just can't get it out of my head, though.

I'm just naturally a worry wart, so I'm really getting worried as it gets closer to the date of my surgery. I wish I wasn't like this.

My pre op diet is basically just sugar free liquids. I don't have to take a certain number of protein drinks. It's weird how every doctor has different rules for the pre op diet. I'm on day 5 right now. The first two days were TERRIBlE. But since then, I've been ok. -
