Help Carb overload. The advise has been up-lifting. I'm 6 months out and at a stall for about 4 weeks. I've lost 40lbs from start weight 245 down to 205. I too have been eating way too many carbs. My nutritionist said carbs melt on your young before getting to the stomach is why you don't fill full like when you eat protien. When I stick to protien based foods I fill up fast, verses high csrb low protien foods. I buy protein drink boxes now with 30 grams of protiem you can get at Sams Club, Casco and Meijers. The brand is Premier Protein. I been contemplating going back to basics as one of have said, liquids for a week to break the habit of desiring old Carb habits and late might snacking Thank God for these forums. Xoco

Weight Loss Struggle Presurgery Question
Dragon Fly posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm 60 and have a very difficult time losing weight. When dieting I can never get past losing 20lbs.The last weight managment quest I made was with the Medical Weight Loss center and only lost a total of 7lbs in 3 months. They were as baffled as I was and now I'm afraid I will get the same results with the surgery. Has anyone had this same problem presurgery? And if did surgery work for you?
