Started my pre-op diet yesterday and it went ok. Just trying to do one day at a time and keep my eye on the prize. Family support has been essential for me. My husband and son are helping me so much. You can do this!

Started my pre-op diet today. Hasn't been too bad. Checked scale today and down another 2.5 pounds. Hope I have the same results you are having.

Starting mine tomorrow. I can have 5 meal replacement shakes or bars and 1 small meal per day. Hope I have as easy a time with it. Surgery is 6/8.

Not going to Mexico, but wanted to comment on your support issue. This forum is great for support and there are also support groups every where to help. I don't know where you live, but you can find them all around. I have told very few people and some don't understand why I want to do this. I just tell them I'm doing it for me to make me happy. -
Yes, we can all do this. Haven't been to support group yet planning on attending them. I belonged to one after having cancer and it was a lifesaver in getting through that. Is one better than the other? Dr. Nick gave me 2 options.

You too! I'm just ready to get through these tough parts and enjoy my life at a higher level! I am anxious about the diets but have to start on the 25th. Don't want to get into surgery and have them back out because my liver is too big. Are you going to go to the support group meetings he offer some?
