Well, I had my Endo yesterday. That was interesting. Went good but found out I have a hernia that needs to be repaired during surgery. Also I'm down 21lbs in my pre-op diet. Tuesday is my final weigh in and meeting with the Dr.

I was just going to say, I've never heard of a scheduled surgery on a weekend.

A lot of you are lucky with only 2 weeks. I am doing 1 month. It's been exactly 2 weeks today.

@@mz.newlife54 I've been drinking Lean Body. They're ready made shakes and are amazing. Vitamin Shoppe sells them in the 17oz and some Walmarts sell them in 14oz but only in vanilla and chocolate.< /p>

It's interesting to read things that different Dr's allow and for how long with the pre-op. Mine is 4 shakes a day, that's it. No food whatsoever and lots of Water. 64oz to be exact. It's supposed to be for exactly 3 weeks prior, but I'm doing a whole month. I'm 6 days in right now.

I'm on day 5 of preop with just my Protein Shakes. I am doing it for exactly one whole month. It's tough but 10lbs down in 5 days so far.

Sorry I'm just seeing this. Back 4 years ago I tried with my insurance but they don't cover it at all. Once I became a stay at home mom I went on my husband's insurance. Come to find out, they won't cover any of it either because they just don't offer it. They wouldn't even cover the sleep study. After 2 years of fighting with them and lots of saving in the past few months, I'm getting it done anyway in a few weeks but I was just curious if anyone else had something similar happen.

I had my final nutritional appt today. My surgery is on the 3rd and I started my preop this past Sat. I bought all my Protein Shakes and Vitamins from Vitamin Shoppe.< /p>

After 2 insurances saying no repeatedly, I finally had to just do this myself. Anyone else?
