We didn't get anything but a few hours of wind, here. No effects from Rita - not even rain. (We could have USED some of that, but oh, well....). We watched movies on the DVD player and watched the trees whip around... Eileen - has enough time passed for you to start harassing the insurance company? Trish - I wish rings like YOURs could help us to lose weight.... Those are gorgeous! Hope everybody is having a fantabulous day! :]

Well, today is the first day since I don't know when that the temp has dropped low enough to go outside... It's heavenly. Krelboines - actually, I misspelled it. It's Krelboyne - Krelboynes are the gifted class in Malcom in the Middle. What a crazy show. So, Lisa, How was the rodeo?? Did you get your fill of boys in chaps?

Yes - have the seamstress cut some buttonholes in it and get yourself some red ribbon to match that panel. It will be fab. OR if it's just too tight for the velcro to hold, she can put in some hook & eye closures. That will just give some reinforcement on top of the velcro. Sorry about the cold thing. It was something over 95 degrees in Dallas today. I tend to forget that other parts of the world experience the mythical and mysterious effect known as "cold". lol Happy Haunting!

Yeah, I was thinking lace it up - but the bias tape idea is good, too. No holes that way. Besides, a little hint of skin is provocative, right? You could go for a Madonna appeal - wear a lacy black bra underneath and use the ties. OR you could wear a leotard or something under it. Oooo - Tom is good - but I have to go with William Shatner - in the young Captain Kirk days. I have only loved the man for my entire life. Hell, I'd probably do him right now. I love a man with a sense of humor... And then there is my beloved Sean Connery. Pretty much pick a movie, any movie - but definitely any James Bond flick he was in. *sigh*

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

OK, neither Eileen or I actually have bands yet, so you MAY want to use the search function - type in PB and like a thousand posts will come up from lots of people who DO have bands - but, I will give you the wisdom I have gleaned from countless hours of hanging out on LBT: PB's are caused by eating too fast, taking too-big bites, not chewing enough, or any combination of the above. It can also happen if you have too much restriction. Eat SLOW Take TINY little bites Chew. Chew until you think the food is mush and then chew some more. For the most part, it seems that if you follow these rules, you will avoid the infamous and much dreaded PB. BUT - if you do have one, you need to do liquids & mushies for a day or two afterward to let the irritation in the esophagus calm down. I am just quoting the folks that actually have the band - use the search function and check out words of wisdom from the already banded... :]

Be sure you take the time to let everything heal and rest. The good news is that, even if you gain back a pound or two, the band will still be there waiting for your body to be ready to continue. :]

Well, the hurricane is supposed to swing by. We will see. I expect that we will lay low, since our town is swarming with evacuees and you have to get use a machette to make it into a grocery store or a Walmart. I have videos - LOTS of videos. Hubby & I will just snuggle down and watch movies while it rains. Of course, the poor DH has to hack and chop his way through to buy supplies today. Did everybody fill up on Gas? Around these parts, they are talking about 4-5 dollars a gallon. God help us all if the refineries are severely damaged by Rita. Everybody think good thoughts. :]

You mean, you actually have to do something at work besides surf LBT?? Wow, bummer. Right now, there isn't much else for me to do, here. It isn't a good thing. Irene is just a smidge ADHD and not having anything to do is the worst kind of punishment. Of course, I AM still getting paid, so I guess there is an up-side. But it is EXTREMELY ODD to have a zero stress level in a mortgage job. It's usually a heart-attack-a-minute. Everything is on a deadline and people get pretty testy about their home loans. Frankly, I don't know how I have survived as a fat chick in the mortgage industry for 14 yrs. Overstaffing - what a concept. Anyway, Y'All have a great evening... and if I hear about any buff dudes being attacked by chubby women in Home Depot, I will think of you! lol.
