Went to an info session at my chosen hospital and it was definitely a wake up call. I am most afraid of being intubated and then extubated after the surgery.
I know I am gonna be asleep...but Im a nurse who used to work in intensive care unit. I've seen people be intubated and extubated. I trust the process but I feel knowing to much is giving me anxiety.
