Tomorrow is a week post-op for me & I've pin'd every recipe that sounds good on my private sleeve board!!! I just want something to eat. Anything!

I was told only Tylenol. Forever!

The first surgeon I saw (who I loved, but was not an in network provider) said that in his opinion bypass is on its way out because of the continued success of the sleeve. I went in already knowing I didn't want the band and also didn't really want to mess with my plumbing ???? Stick with your gut!

My tummy is rolling & I'm having a hard time consuming.

I was sleeved on Tuesday & am having very hard time with liquids & protein. I was told to wait a month before starting my vitamins.

I did on the pain meds & I have had a fever on and off again since I came home so yes, I feel ya! I am just taking Tylenol here and there now. Feel better!

Thank you! Not really "eating" yet per say and am trying to put unflavored protein powder in my drinks. I guess you could say I'm constantly eating lol

I'm sorry you are still feeling that way! I have found that sleeping on the sofa the past few nights semi elevated with my knees up has really helped me. I am a 28ther and on the 29th & 30th my forearms hurt so bad from gas that it was unbearable. Today I have a whole new issue & am running for the potty...

Anyone having frequent runs to the potty? I'm on day 4 post-op & my tummy is not happy ????

I was sleeved yesterday & came home today. I've felt better...

I had surgery yesterday & my period had started on Sat. Figures right?! You'll get nice mesh panties & some maxi pads. Gross, but trust me you won't care!

I was sleeved yesterday and came home today. Very rough night with morphine and vomiting, but am ok now except for all of the pressure. If they give you a morphine pump, take it easy!!!

I went ahead and had a sleep study while I was waiting for my appointment with the surgeon so I was positive that I had at least one comorbidity going in. Maybe you can swing that and it will help ease your worries.

I'm in week 4 of my 2 week pre-op haha! 3 Protein shakes and one lean/green meal. Good times

I'm on the 28th - Can I join in? I started this process in April and completed everything in September, but it too my insurance weeks to approve and I finally got the call last night that I'm in!! I'm in MD, have a 2 year old daughter and teenage and adult stepsons, 2 Yorkie's, a beach house, and I AM READY!

Did anyone with Federal BCBS take more than a week to hear back whether or not they were approved? I was told that my package was submitted for pre-certification on 10/3 and still have not heard back on if I was approved or not. Meanwhile, I was told by my Dr.'s office to start the two week pre-op diet on 9/30 and today has been two weeks of three shakes a day and one lean/green meal. Meanwhile, the Dr.'s office also told me it usually only takes a day or so for them to hear back. I'm hungry, anxious, and frustrated! I have a two year old, a full time job, and a need to know when to fly my Mom up, but everything is still up in the air and its driving me crazy

I got the call an hour ago that I am approved and am going in on Tuesday, 10/28!! Woohoo!!

YES!!! Mine was submitted on 10/3 with a tentative date of tomorrow and still no approval! I'm going crazy and I have called pretty much every day
