My surgery is tomorrow 10/1! I had a lap band 6 years ago and about a year ago started getting acid reflux at night. After I did the wonderful swallow test it was confirmed that my band had slipped. Dr took most of my fluid out. Still had some acid reflux so new Dr wants to take out lap band and do the sleeve. He plans to do it all tomorrow as long as everything looks good. I am nervous and hope my surgery goes as planned. It helps knowing there is support here! Note: my Dr says a lot of lap bands have been failing and they have been replacing them. I think it happened after a fill I had and couldn't eat so he took some fluid out.

My surgery is October 1st!
