I had really bad cramps the 2 times I had my period after.. The worst since I had my child I was bent over because of the pain. I asked the Dr if the surgery had anything to do with the cramping and they said no. I think its because Im off of birth control.

So I was having issues eating food and Im 6 weeks out. I went to my Dr for a check up and somehow I missed the fact I need to take a bite every 10 Minutes then I wont have the stacking issue. I got a little worried because I was chewing like crazy but would take another bite after then I would be done and uncomforatble afterwards. He said that it could cause the sleeve to stretch if I keep that up my gosh that scared me.. I rather just keep drinking my Protein shakes and Water it seems so less complicated.

Yeah I was shocked as well but needed to find out why I was having a hard time eating it was new to me as well. I thought If I just chewed it to death I woull be good.

I was always clothed even when I went for the surgery.. I would push this along sooner then later since you have a short window. This took me 6 months to get done and sometimes it can take longer... -

I was 10 pounds off and loved Taco Bell for 2 weeks and kept my clothes and always wore my hoodie with my bottle of Water full in it and my keys since I did not have my purse with me. There are ways to get to what you need to be, and I was the same I struggled all my life... After my baby it just got out of control. Now I finally feel like I have control and the food is only a source for my body to be Healthy.. -

How did it go for Outpatient? I wish that was me I was in the hospital for the night and all they did was do blood work every 6 hours, Breathing treatments and had the morphine pump. The morphine pump was amazing but that was it. Then I could not drink Water at all till the next day... Just curious how the outpaient process goes -

Mine said 73,000 with one night stay my insurance covered all but 1300 of it. -
Alcohol -- I liked to drink pre opp and that hasn't gone away post opp. In fact, since food is much more effort, drinking sort of becomes easier. I now see why people caution about the dangers of substituting.I agree with this, I am struggling since eating is still rough for me Im 6 weeks out and Wine goes down way easier then chewing chicken for 10 minutes then getting that full feeling stuck in my esophogus for an hour.
-
I cant believe you lost 130 pounds in 5 months congrats thats amazing
-
I started this process in May and was sleeved in October and that was everything going pretty well and I did not have to do the diet. So it could take as long as a year but hopefully sooner then later
-
I have the same issue I was dating a guy before the surgery so I had no issue. Now that Im single its a big deal I think Im not going to date for the first 6 months im 1 month out in order to gain more confidence and start to love my body again

Not a good Day :/ - Surgery Postponed
cdenney123 replied to HollyFriend's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That almost happend to me I had a high white blood count which ment I had an infection my body was fighting. I did not know till the day before if I was ok to have the surgery or not. My mom came from Utah I live in Cali to help me and I had my ex have my daughter and work vacation scheduled. Im sorry that happend but it all worked out for the best you found out you needed antibiotics and are getting that taken care of. Good Luck and its all worth it.. It toook me 7 months to get here and after the surgery you will look back and realize its all a blur and will be looking forward to being healthy. -
Im 4 weeks out and have hit a stall I cant loose a pound for the life of me now. I was so excited the first 3 weeks I was loosing 5 pounds a week. I think by reading these blogs the stalls hit several times through out the journey. We just have to get through them as they come our way.
