 I have been overweight most of my life, back in October 2014, I was banded. Over the next two years and over 30 fills/unfills,  I never did reach that green zone… I was either so full I could only get down liquids, or felt like I had no restriction.  Also from day one I have had severe Port pain, that no one can explain why.   We recently moved from Arizona to Texas, due to hubbys job, and I have been seeing a surgeon in the area.  After several tests, and insurance approval, I am scheduled for a band removal/sleeve surgery on May 5th. I am nervous but excited as well.
