I see this is an old post but I live on Long Island. I had tricare and just switched to fidelis/ Medicaid and there is no wait time. -
I also have a 6 (almost 7) month old and have the same concerns. I'm also still nursing my son and I'm scared my milk is going to dry up with the lack of eating. I'm so sad about it because I wanted to breastfeed for atleast a year but I keep telling myself that I made it this far which is a lot further than I ever thought I would and that surgery is definitely for the better.
