Hey guys. I've been gone a while and well it's been a long 2 weeks. I have been struggling to keep up with Protein and Vitamins and I even find myself snacking on not so healthy foods. I haven't been to gym either. This is so bad! I keep telling myself tomorrow tomorrow and I never do. Anyone in San Antonio near the north side would be much appreciated right about now.... I thinks it's the holiday blues.... And the stress at work. Ugh!!! I need to snap back and do it quick. Anyone else goes through this.... What did you do......how do I make this happen!

CLOUD BREAD RECIPE- not exactly like real bread but so versatile. 3 whole large eggs, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar, 3 tablespoons of cottage cheese and 1/2 packet of sweetener. You will need 2 medium mixing bowls. Preheat oven to 300 degrees 1.Separate the egg white from the yolks and place them in separate bowls. 2. Add 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until it forms stiff peaks (like merengue) * set to the side 3.Add 3 tablespoons of cottage cheese and 1/2 packet of sweetener to the yolks and blend until smooth (cottage cheese may not completely break down, but is okay) 4. Gently fold the mixtures together being careful not to break down the stiffness in the eggwhiite mixture. * LIghtly coat a cookie sheet with non stick spray. - scoop the mixture onto the cookie sheet to about the size of a McDonald's bun. About 3/4 inch high. Mixture should make about 8 - 10 scoops. - place the sheet into the oven for 30 minutes - bake until the tops turn a light golden brown, again about the color of a McDonalds bun. - remove sheet from oven, remove each lice and let cool on a cooling rack or cutting board. You can eat once they are completely cooled but they will have a merengue texture to them. FOR BEST RESULTS AFTER PIECES HAVE COMPLETELY COOLED, PLACE IN A ZIPLOCK BAG OR CONTAINER OVER NIGHT. THEN ENJOY! Ideas for this bread: Grilled cheese -fat free cheese sugar free jelly- seedless Babybell soft cheese wedges Turkey chili- Beans = Protein Grilled tomato and fresh thin sliced mozzarella with a light balsamic drizzle.

Guys! 41 days out! I have found a low car bread recipe.... Made with only 3 whole eggs, cream of tartar, cottage cheese and 1 packet of sweetener. Cloud bread is what they call it. It came out real good. I ate it this morning with sugar free jelly. Check it out!

I too am having a hard time hitting 64 oz a day, and mostly when I am work. A friend showed me a way to mark my Water bottle with rubber bands. So basically I'm timing my water intake without a timer. I have 3 on my water bottle from the top to the 1st band I should finish that by 8 1st to the 2nd I should finish by 10 from the 2nd to the 3rd I should finish by noon and fill it back up and do it all over again. So it's about 10 - 11 oz every 2 hours. Anything after that is a plus. I have only tried it once, yesterday, and it worked. I guess it's a mind thing, like a mental competition. Side note- I cleaned my closet out! Got rid of all the size 24 and a good hunk of the 22. Closet looks empty, but don't wanna buy new close! I'm hitting up the consignment stores this weekend. I am also using my leggings with some cute sweaters ( that fit like winter dresses now). Nothing but compliments finally, and I'm loving it. I AM SO EXCITED TO CONTINUE READING ABOUT EVERYONE'S SUCCESS, AND HELPING LIFHT THE WAY FOR THISE WHO HIT BUMPS IN THE ROAD.

Just wondering if anyone use Dr. Patel. I'm not sure if what I am experiencing with the staff is normal or if Imhave rubbed them the wrong way or something? -
Not arguing with you, just saying if in a vitamin prescribed by a doctor is not bad.
-
In abundance carbs are bad but in a chewable vitamin form.... That won't hurt.

No problem.
-
Search for a chewable one at GNC.

Carbs aren't a bad thing, they are good for the brain. Don't do the capsule because your body won't absorb it fast enough. BA vitamins are a little pricey but your health is pricelss

it's just insane. He is real good but he needs to talk to his insurance advocate staff. Just horrible -
Mine said the same. I figured the ones I was using were okay. It has been 3 days since then. I am going to see if this gets better over the weekend. If not, Monday morning I'm headed to my doctor.

Yes I am taking them as prescribed. I went throught my journal and noticed this started after I attempted 5-10 lb weights at the gym. And have narrowed the pain down to certain movements. Which is any movement involving abs. might go get an x-ray done.

Guys! I am now 23 days post op, RNY, and back at work(desk). I'm starting to get slight pain on the upper right incision. I only feel it after I have been wearing PANTS/jeans. Maybe the compression from them is bothering my insides. I am on pureed foods and have been walking and lightly jogging about 2-3 miles a day. It's like a fluttering pain. Like a giant butterfly hates my insides. Anyone else??

An hour after surgery. I walked 2 laps as soon as I woke up, and boy was i in pain. So my nurse who also had WLS, grabbed this and said try this. It made a world of difference. It didn't eliminate but sure did reduce.
