    2nd Fill and NO Restriction?

I have had the same problem. I had my surgery on Nov. 2 and I lost 15lb. I had my first fill in Dec. .5cc that brought me up to 1.5cc. I also have a 4mm band. Than Jan. 2 I went for another follow-up and I told the doctor I had no restriction what so ever. So he gave me another .5cc now I am at 2cc and I still feel no restriction. Worst of all I have been exercising since Dec. and I haven't lost not one pound. But I really don't get down about because I feel eventually I will hit my sweet spot and than I will begin losing. So don't get discouraged I think the restriction will come eventually

    Advise about Psychiatry eval???

    Thanks for the info Delarla
  6. I am preparing myself for the steps toward getting the band. I am a bit nervous about the psychiatry evaluation because I don't know what kind of questions they ask you?? I am worried about not being able to pass(that sounds dumb) but I have never been to a shrink. Can anyone who has been through it give an idea of what I have to go through. I know all doctors are different but I wouldn't mind anyone sharing there expriences. Thanks
  7. Just wondering if anyone has ever been banded by Dr. Naaman in Houston, Tx? He works with Memorial Hermann Hospital. Anyone that can let me know if he is a good doc or anything else....would appreciate the info. thanks
  8. Just wondering if anyone has ever been banded by Dr. Naaman in Houston,TX. He is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital? Would like any feedback on this particular doc if anyone has any... Thanks
  9. Has anyone used UT BC/BS for the lap procedure. I live in houston, TX and I am considering this and I read in my insurance guide they would consider surgery for people they consider "MORBIDLY OBESE" but maybe its for the gastric bypass surgery? I have yet to investigate. Just wanted to know if anyone has had the experience yet with this type of insurance. Thanks edna
