  1. You'll do great!! Just be patient the beginning was the hardest part as time goes on you'll learn what you can and can't eat (fries now make me sick, which isn't the worst thing ever makes it easier to stay away) and follow everything your doctor tells you to do!
  2. Amazing!!! No complications I've lost 60lbs and it's the best decision I've ever made and I would do it all over again!
  3. I'm from Sterling Heights .... Was sleeved in December
  4. I'm 3 months and 1 week post op and today I'm officially in onderland! Hw 255 Sw 247 Cw 199 This is the best decision I have ever made for myself, it hasn't been easy but it's worth it!!!
  5. I'm two months post op, I've been doing great no problems with my sleeve at all! But today I've been dizzy all day and I'm not sure why... I'm eating about 900 calories a day so I don't think it's food, and I'm drinking plenty of fluids and taking an Iron pill... Any ideas?

    Worried....

I'm 2 months post op... I just ate a piece of baked breaded chicken about 3-4oz with a lemon sauce not paying attention I ate it in about 15 min I'm concerned because it went down easy, and not in any pain, usually when I eat that much that quickly I get a strong pain in my upper abdomen... Can my stomach have stretched already?

Hungry All The Time....9 weeks post-op

I'm about 9 weeks out too and I find myself wanting to eat more, I can easily eat 1000 calories a day but I try not to pass 700 but I find myself always hungry (even when I eat 1000 calories) im worried that it's so easy to eat that many calories this soon

    Some progress in photos!

Thank you so much for sharing your day!! I am doing the same focusing on Protein however I feel like I might be eating too many calories. Around 7 to 800 a day I'm about seven weeks postop. i'm focusing on low-carb less than 50 a day and I'm also trying to get back into the routine of working out. I have lost 27 pounds since surgery, I know that's great but I expected more. Started at 255 and was 247 Preop and I'm now 220. (I'm 5'2) My day: Morning - Vitamins and breakfast usually a Protein shake because I don't really like to eat in the morning and wait a half hour and start focusing on my liquids Couple hours later I have a snack as I start to get hungry, protein-based cheese, turkey, beef Jerky nuts, couple spoons of yogurt or hummus Afternoon - more vitamins and for lunch usually some kind of chicken and wait half hour and focus on fluids Couple hours later another snack. dinner - i'm usually not hungry at this point but I eat something small so I don't get hungry closer to bedtime and eat too late. Again it's some kind of protein like a turkey rollup with veggie and hummus. And I focus on fluids half hour after the meal. My biggest struggles are eating too fast which I try to slow down but I'm still not eating Sloan off as a couple times I have gotten sick from eating too fast. And going to the gym luckily I have a great support system and they drag me along even when I don't want to go the more I go the easier it gets. Usually go about three times a week although I would like to increase that. Overall I am happy with the weight-loss I just had different ideas in my mind about the rate I would lose it
  11. Thinking of buying something that tracks my steps and activity like a Fitbit..... But there's so many different devices out there, wondering what everyone is using?

    Some progress in photos!

You look amazing .... Can I ask what are you eating? I'm 6 weeks out and have only lost about 15 pounds.

    How much Protein?

    Thanks everyone!
  14. So I'm 7 weeks post op, I was told to eat 55 to 75g of Protein (I'm guessing based on my body type) My question is... Is eating over 75g of protein going to make me gain weight? I'm still eating several small meals every few hours and under 1,000 calories a day. But most of my meals are protein based, for example today based on my fitness pal I had 900 calories and 100g of protein. Am I doing this wrong ?!
  15. So I'm having a hard time getting protein in every day I'm about six weeks post op, chicken and protein shakes make me nauseous. I've been doing well with eggs, but I want another source of protein I've been researching some protein bars what is the best one out there? (Taste good, low carb, low sugar, high protein) any suggestions would be appreciated!!
