    Male Before and After Pictures

I workout 5 days a week and limit cardio to no more than twice a week. No more than 15 minutes. My goal is to get to 250lbs and not be "skinny fat". So by doing this with a heavy Protein based diet, I've been able to slow weight loss down where I still gain muscle. I also go to get a body composition analysis which breaks down my body fat %, muscle mass and tracks weight. I'll take a picture of it soon to show you guys.

    Can you lift weights

My doctor advised me to wait 8 weeks post-op to begin lifting again. Walking is a great way to stay active. I'm 9months post op and lift regularly now. P.S.- if you're able to lift something 25-50 times that's weight is way too light. Go up to a weight where you can do12-15 reps for 4 sets.
  6. 7 weeks post-op At time of before photo I weighed 390. I'm currently 320 and just started going back to the gym.
  7. One month post-op I went out with friends and ordered buffalo wings. I only ate two of them and stopped. They didn't sit well and had several "close encounters". Needless to say I've been back on the wagon and am sticking with my meal plan.

Guys, what do you consider your ideal pants size ?

Based on 2:1 height to waist ratio I should be a 38 waist. If my shoulders are broader than my waist I'm happy

    BigDaddy look to be NotSoBigDaddy

BigDaddyJG welcome to the forum and we look forward to your success! I'm apart of the 6'4 group and as it seems like most in here, I'm also a referred to as "big guy". This is something that I've been addressed as my whole life and as an adult I used it as a scapegoat when I overindulged in whatever food I could find. People made it socially acceptable because calling their friends fat would be cruel. Im newly sleeved as of 4/29 and I've lost 34lbs and I feel amazing. Making this decision will benefit you in ways that we'd used to only dream of. Hopefully you'll be kayaking before Thanksgiving!

    NSV shout outs

I'm newly sleeved as of 4/29 and my first NSV was seeing my friends for the first time prior to my liquid diet. I wore a hoodie because that's how I normally cover myself up and they were all interested in how much weight I've lost and how in up and walking 5 days post-op. One of my wife's friends actually said she was proud of me for taking this big step and not complaining about it once.

    Any April Sleevers?

April 29th is my big day! I get sleeved on that day also. How is everyone doing with the liquid diet? I began mine 3 days ago while on a cruise. It's been tough few days but I feel it'll get easier once I get home into a routine.
