@@Beni I don't know why you can't have ice chips or something in that time they usually suck out your gastric fluids anyway. Lol

Some people on here the doctor gives them a special soap to clean with, mine did not. At the pre op testing to day. They had me sign my consents, they weighed me and I interviewed with the nurse and the nurse anesthetist. That was it. I was given a paper on what meds to take and what not to take. And told I should not eat four hours before the surgery. I replied "eat what?" And laughed.

same with me. My family still has their snacks. I even warned them that I was going to buy frozen dinners so that I wouldn't have to cook and smell the food.

I went to the movies and had popcorn. And I ate 7 smoked almonds. I still stayed under 1000 calories but they want me at 800. I had to start giving away my snacks so I won't eat them. I need to train my mind more because next week it's all clears. Pray for me. 5 more days. I'm going to will my liver to shrink.

I am at my pre-operative testing appointment. And I'm am the only one here by myself.

Well it's day two of pre op diet. I got in 88 grams of protein. 64oz of water. Walked 15,000 steps. Weight at the end of the day 284.6. I started in May at 303. Surgery 6 days and counting.

Yea they also told me no NSAIDS for 7-14 days.

Better than my term. Food funerals.

@@Beni seriously I have been having food funerals. I looked at this u open bag of smoked almonds and almost cried. I feel like I need to eat the world. But I'm not hungry. It's just mind over matter. There's a devil sitting in my shoulder saying "a couple of nuts won't hurt you've walked 15,000 steps today." I want I want. But I have to stop myself and remember Helene you're saving your own life. The power is in you. And then I go sit down and stop trying to graze in the kitchen.

I almost cried because I was mourning the lost of my smoked almonds and whole cashews. I want hot food.
