Please tell me which ones you're buying. I saw some from Popsicle brand but they had 9 g of sugar still? Could you please tell me what brand you're buying? I'm also getting RNY so maybe these were ok for sleeves? I'd love to be able to have a cold treat after tomorrow! 13.5 hours until my surgery! I also might try sugar free chocolate instant pudding? Only like 3 g of sugar. Thoughts?

Of course that helps and I know that I'm making the right decision. I can't wait to have a second chance at living the healthy life I've always framed of. I'm getting it right this time. Hi everyone. Just wondering about the smoking situation? Has anyone smoked through the process? Or started again afterwards. I met someone during one of my classes that is smoking throughout the whole thing and hiding it. I've smoked a bit here and there and have surgery on nov. 5th. No more for me.

I have him too! Hes supposed to be great! 1 more sleep! Do you regret doing it Ruth? I've only ever heard a couple people say they did but just a question? Cold feet questions I guess. Lol Shelly

That's incredible. I know that smoking is just not an option for me afterwards. I'm in this for the long haul and to improve ALL aspects of my health.. I Need to find some cool new coping mechanisms, eating is out, turning to the bottle is a far away dream and not really something I even want to dabble back into and smoking is ridiculous.. So sex and knitting it'll be. Lol

That makes complete sense. Did you sleeve or bypass? I think that makes a big difference too. I'm RNY. I didn't mean to question your NUTS instructions, I hope it wasn't taken like that. It's just so different from mine in Canada. Maybe they push the protein here in Canada because its so effin' cold! Lol keep going lady, you're doing great!

Not having the protein shakes in the first few weeks? How did you get any protein in the first week? Clear liquid? Your nut might be a NUT lol. As long as your not losing muscle as opposed to fat. They must know what they're doing but ill say it again; it's so wild how each surgeons office is often soooo different. Crazy. Good luck though.. You seem to have the right mind set and following the guidelines! I can't wait, your inspiring me cause I'm 1 sleep away from my surgery. I haven't slept at all tonight. I'm sure I'll be narcoleptic soon.. Shelly

Hi everyone! My name is Shelly and I'm in Ottawa Canada. My surgery is on November 5th.. Things are getting real, quick. On that beloved optifast 3 week liver shrinking thing so there's that joy. It isn't so bad, but looking forward to incorporating new, tasteful items as the weeks pass. I'm confused about this app, don't know how to navigate it or pick up from where I left off or view replies to my posts. Notifications don't seem to be working. Halp.. Lol I started my journey at 377 and not sure where I'm at today. Probably 355 or so. Anyone close to Ottawa or close my surgery date, I'd love to follow and compare progresses and struggles.
