My name is Lavitta. I have been over weight about 15 yrs. I tried many ways to lose with no success. The idea of weight loss surgery was suggested by my pop 3 years ago. At that time I was not really open to the idea. Then after two knee surgeries, a battle with sciatica and borderline diabetes, I knew it was time to do something. I finally started working towards getting approval from my insurance in Nov. 2013. So hear I am 3 days post-op as of Sept. 16, 2014
