Went to see my surgeon today and I've gained 2 pounds. No biggie, I'm on my cycle, right? No, I'm not eating enough calories..... I'm able to get up to about 650 but I need 1000!! Maybe now that I can eat regular foods again, I will get there.

Plus, let me add, that I have found right before my cycle I lose a couple of pounds which makes me think wow, that means I will weigh even less when the period is over. NO, when the period is over, I gained the 2 I thought I lost plus 2 more. Then about 3-4 days it goes back down. The weirdest thing.

It would be better to set a goal that you can control, like an exercise challenge or something. Although you are in charge of what you eat, your body is in charge of your weight loss rate. Some people lose slower than others and they are perfectly on track. It's very individual. We all can get to the same place, but not necessarily at the same time.
