Smoothe move is great!! Some of those teas (a s laxatives in general) make my stomach cramp really bad but this is mild but effective.

What are some brother you like other than chicken, beef, and veggie?

Has any body used Unjury unflavored protein? I. Wondering if it is good to put in soups without changing the taste. It's sold at the pharmacy where my surgeon is and the Nutritionist recommended it.

Thai ginger infused broth sounds amazing! I will have to look for that.

My family notices! You fix your plate with a little bit of food and they look you have three heads! SMH! I guess that's why most of us are overweight! I will not fall victim to their shenanigans anymore! lol

I thought about calling my insurance company to inquire about that but I'm hopeful that the last appointment will be the last appointment. When I call the doc tomorrow I will see where he is with his part. If he says I need to come in again I'm going to have to see about changing providers. I'm just ready to get this done!! And he can ask me out if that's really what he wants to do. I won't go but he can ask lol! This guy is easily old enough to be my grandfather!

I am beyond irritated! I can say that I've become more aware about some of my habits but at this point what else do you need to know?? My surgeon's office gave me a consult with a list of questions they needed answered for this. We went over that the first appointment on 1 December. WHAT THE HELL ELSE DO YOU WANT!!!!??? I get that makes his money psychoanalysing everybody. I get that maybe I could have benefitted from some couch time in the past. Maybe even now. But again I don't get is why he says to me (that in these appointments and on these "tests" he gave me) that I have demonstrated and proven that I understand what I'm getting myself into, that I have a great support system, and all that jazz, why am I still no closer to getting that last piece, HIS piece, sent to my surgeon's office? I reminded him again today that HE IS THE HOLD UP! They are ready to send my chart off for insurance approval abd have been ready since last week! IDK what to do!!!

Muffin tin cooking/freezing is the best thing ever. I use them often to control portion sizes now so I don't gain weight while I'm waiting on my date.

I'm still pre-op as well and I have told some people. Most if my family is supportive. My mom says my dad is scared for me. But then he cried about me going to college in Florida and with me when I was told I had to have a c section. But my grandmother seems to think it is a bad idea. Her exact words to me were "you're gonna f@*k it up like you always do." And to make it seem like less of an insult she says "that's what we do. We f$*k s#%t up." Meanwhile, she's about to have another knee replacement. Also 2 others who have never been morbidly obese or even overweight had sone things to say. But when I asked them to put themselves in my shoes and then asked them to research the surgery and the process post-op, they changed their minds. Not grandma tho smh. It's a good thing I'm not doing this for anyone but me...and my 3 year old son who just wants his mommy around! I think that people fear the unknown. I think people try to discourage us because they don't want us to feel better about ourselves. They like us fat abd unhappy and dependant on them ( not saying that's your situation). At the end of the day, this is about you. Do this for you! And let them know that the reward is greater than the risk. There are way more success stories than not. You're you.g to be a success! They should ride that train with you! God bless!

Awesome! Yeah that epidural didn't work for me. I felt her cut me and had to be put to sleep for my son's birth. Smh. They will know!!!

With so many things going on in my life, the stress of being unemployed and ALL that comes with that, I am sooooooo ready to get this done! It's really one of the only things I'm looking forward to and still excited about. I have strong faith and today it was tested so much so that I almost lost it! I need some good news like ASAP!!!!! JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! I am done with everything except the psych eval. I've been to see him twice already and he just seems to wan to draw this out. He petty much told me what his write up would be but he wanted me to do some tests. I did those Tuesday and I am going back tomorrow to discuss results.....It's really irritating me. I'm not against seeing a therapist but he makes me see why some people are. I may need therapy from seeing this guy! lol! I really think he just wants to get money from my insurance company.

Oh noo! Well I pray this works and you can move forward! How are you feeling? It sucks that you would have to wait an additional 4 weeks!

I was given a little pouch of Pocket Protein by my Nutritionist the other day. It's only 15 mg of protein. I tried it straight out of the pack and it was ok. Kind of tasted like liquid Jell-o to me. It was too sweet for me though, so I put it in my Water like I would my crystal light and it was much better. it has to be super cold though. Has anyone else tried Pocket Protein? If so, How did you like it?

I didn't know how much it was. I'm guessing my NUT doesn't know either since she got it for free. But everybody had great thing to say about Genepro so maybe I'll try that one. She recommended Unjury but I've not heard good things about the taste.

Unfortunately the Psych doctor is holding me up. I wish I would have chosen a different doctor for that. He has never done this kind of eval before and even though I gave him a document from my surgeon that outlines all he needs to do, he still has questions. SMH! But I saw him today and told him that he is the last part needed and that we were trying to submit by the end of the week. Hopefully that will get him going. Still praying for a January date. I pray you get your date soon!! Keep us posted!

Just curious. I see a lot of people from the West coast and up north like Jersey and PA...

What was yours like? I just left mine and I'm really thinking about seeing someone else. I feel like he was over thinking it. And wth do I need to go back for???
