Married for 5 years to a wonderfully complicated yet lovable man :) We just were blessed with twin boys Reed Michael and Noah Gabriel who were born in Jan.

I've always struggled with my weight since early on and haven't been able to shed but a few pounds here and there using every diet and pill known to man.

Since the arrival of our boys and I've wanted to make sure I can appreciate them and their journey and not be hindered by my weight or my body image. I did this for them and for my health and well being. I didn't want to be the fat mommy because I was tired of being the fat wife or fat teenager.

I had my surgery on Sep 3rd in Thousand Oaks, Ca by Dr. Amir Mehran. Love him!! He is so smart but has the best sense of humor.

My highest weight was approx 263 and I hate that I actually typed that out for all the world to see...yikes! Ill never let myself get to that again. Day of surgery I weighed in at 238.

I can use all the help I can get. Everyday seems like it is a bit of a struggle but life isnt always a walk in the park is it?
