Hello all! For those of you who are 4-5 months post op how much weight have you lost so far? We can do it!!! Keep pushing forward. My life has changed for the good thanks to my sleeve.

You can do it! Stay positive and just remember it will get better.

Take a deep breath and remind yourself that it will all be worth it and the pain will go away in a couple days. Walk walk walk!!! Trust me I went through that October 9th. Be strong. You can do it!!!!

Hello all! I am having a vsg October 9th with Dr. Garcia at the Florence Hospital. I am super excited but very nervous. For those of you that had surgery with Dr. Garcia any suggestions? Does anyone know if the hospital has wifi?

I paid $4200 because I went home after the surgery since I live in San Diego. No need for me to stay in any hotel. I also booked directly with the doctor. I did not use any 3rd party contracts.

I know I know I shouldn't even be thinking about this but I'm just curious. I guess knowing that I will be able to eat bad food periodically close to never makes my liquid diet feel easy. Anyways, when did you eat your first bad meal after surgery? Burgers, pasta, burrito, pizza, etc. how many weeks or months post op were you? How did your tummy react?

Gas pains are horrible! As sleepy and tired as I was I made myself get up to walk because that was the only thing that helped the gas pain. I was also very nauseous so I spent the whole night gagging cause I wouldn't actually throw up. You just have to keep calm. The next morning at 6am I felt as normal as can be. Still a little bit of gas pain but walking helped. I must add that Dr. Garcia's team came every hour or two and would give me medicine to ease the gas pain.

Thank you all for your feedback! Some days I don't feel normal and the fat girl thoughts come to mind but I know once I am able to have them, they will not be as worth it as I think. Moderation is key! Good day

It went great! They take such great care of you at florence hospital during and after. I must say the first night was a total nightmare but the following days were alright. I'm feeling good just miss food so much haha. I would choose Dr. Garcia all over again if I had to. His team was amazing!

Hello all! Today I am 2 days post op and I am feeling very hungry. I have been drinking liquids only and chicken broth. Is it normal to feel extremely hungry? It totally sucks because my tummy hurts whenever I drink anything. Help I want to cry
