I can totally relate to what you're experiencing. I have a few co-workers that are treating me different. I consider them my friends so I decided to inform them of my surgery. They're not talking to me but I'm not going to let it bother me. I think more of this will come has I get further along in my journey.

Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing well with pre-op diet if you had to be on one. Okay guys I don't know what to do with myself because I'm so excited lol. I have 4 days until surgery day , wow I can't believe it but I wish it was tomorrow. I know some of you can relate.

Oh my pre-op diet is going well. I've been on a low carb diet. I had severe headaches day 2 and 3 other than that it's been okay. I had to fight urges, still fighting and doing well . I'm ready for Tuesday to come. Talk to you soon.

Hey Tammy, Tomorrow is your day, congratulations! Wow time has gone by so fast. I completely understand and agree with work. I have to tie up my work load by Sunday. I'm only planning to remain home for 1 wk. I'm a social worker, I don't have any lifting to do. It's more mentally draining and so I am worried I may need more time. My supervisor has informed me to come back when I'm ready, but I don't won't my caseloads to get to out of hand. I want to get back moving as soon as possible too. But enough about me, how are you feeling? What time are you heading to the hospital? I hope I'm able to chat with you before you go in but if not I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. Hi, I hope your surgery date is finalized soon. I'm also scheduled for October 7th. I'm just really excited at this point. With 7 days remaining I don't know what to do with myself lol . I'm double checking my hospital bag, Vitamins, shakes, and all post-op needs almost daily. My husband thinks I'm going crazy because I'm not nervous at all. I'm ready to go! I'm planning to start a thread for October 7th sleevers because there are quite a few of us and I definitely want us to stay in touch. Dana

This is my 7th day on low carb pre-op diet. Yesterday was tough because it was the 1st day I was home all day. I was in out of the kitchen preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for my children. At one point I thought I was going to give in but I pushed through. I'm so thankful I'm not having headaches at this point. October 7th sleevers we have 7 days remaining ! Wow, my excitement is continuing to grow. This week will go by quickly. For those of you getting sleeved this week congratulations and i wish you a speedy recovery!

I would take no more than you need, I would leave valuables at home. Hopefully the hospital will have somewhere to store your things. Request more information from the hospital so you know what to expect. Your surgical practice should be able to provide you with this information or should be able to let you know who to contact at hospital. Wishing you the best!

Hello everyone, third day on pre-op. I've suffered with major headaches today I'm assuming it's due to my diet not really sure. I'm pressing forward, right now all I want to do is sleep for the next 11 days . October 7th sleevers 11 days remaining (first time I've smiled this afternoon ). I'm hoping I feel a little better tomorrow. Hang in everyone, we can do this!
