Hey beautiful people! I was wondering if any post op people had advice for pre-op. Is there anything special I should look out for. What did you guys bring to the hospital? Fellow pre-op advice is welcome too! Look forward to hearing from you all!

Hey! Do any of you dorm away at school? Or have you lived in a dorm post surgery. I was wondering what it is like to be on a college campus after surgery. I was wondering how the food plan works? If you keep food in your dorm and what not. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I have a full meal plan but the food options are pretty sucky, I try to just stick to the salad bar. I was thinking of keeping protein shakes in my fridge because I never wake up in time for breakfast. Maybe some fruit cups would be good. I find it hard to keep fruit good in my dorm. Thank you for your advise it was really helpful!

That's awesome! I just got a call from my surgeon today that I have been bumped up to November 22nd. I thought I had to wait longer for insurance. So you never know with them. I'm super excited for you! I can't answer any questions now cause I'm still in pre-op and have a ton of questions myself but when I'm post-op I can help out if you need. Good luck on your journey! You go girl!

You go girl! That's really amazing! I went to a post op/pre op support group tonight and they answered all my questions which is great. I'm sure I will still have more along the way but I will reach out. How do you feel, how was recovery? For you personally what has been the hardest part?
