foodfighter78 got a reaction from skinnygirlinme in Staple foods for the soft food stage (phase 3)
I have the problem with eggs, tofu, chicken, tuna, gas pain until a burp it out with vomit gastric fluids. With eggs I have to vomit about 10 times, and after that I can get Water or anything else in. My stomach hurts for hrs. My surgery was 3/16. How long does it take to be able to eat without all of this gas creating? -

I'm echoing that the TT/plication was so worth it... Now...
Those first few weeks were difficult.... It was the getting up and lying down that took some clever maneuvering.
Glad I had help the first few days.
Numbness and some itching is par for the plastic surgery. You get used to it very fast. And much feeling comes back. ( not all for me, but a lot)
Good luck and happy contouring.
It feels like a treat to me after much hard work.

I had my extended Tummy Tuck and breast lift with augmentation all at one time. It was tough. The pain from the tummy tuck is what you will really struggle with, assuming you have muscle repair (which almost every tummy tuck includes). The recovery is long and you will have significant pain. Please do your research. It is very very serious surgery, so make sure you are prepared to take at least 4-6 weeks off of work and have help around the house. You won't even be able to use the bathroom by yourself for the first few days.

If you don't have a glucometer (a meter to measure your blood sugar), you can get one pretty cheap at Walmart called Relion. The test strips are only $9 for 50 of them.

@@foodfighter78 I always keep Peanut Butter and crackers around to use if my sugar drops - as far as the juice goes - .. try keeping diluted apple juice around - half water/half juice - cuts down the sugars that could cause you to dump, but should give you enough to braise your sugar a bit - then be sure follow that up with a carb/protein snack to keep your sugar from plummeting again. Hopefully everyone who is having low blood sugar episodes is following up with their doctor. Low blood sugars can be very dangerous -

foodfighter78 got a reaction from Donna415 in Dumping Syndrome
I'm 14 months put and I suffer from severe dumping syndrome. From sugar, meat, chicken, fish, scrambled eggs, Pasta, bread, white rice, I'm very restricted on what I am eat. Positive thing is I lost 105 lbs, I even went underweight, now I'm working out and getting some weight. I'm hungry after work out but I can't eat all that I wish. So my tool is working. And I'm grateful for it. I didn't have a surgery to fail another diet. Do I get sad about my eating, yes I do. But then I look before and after and say; Yeah!!!!!!!
