About Me
I was 16 yrs old when I was officially diagnosed with PCOS. When I was 24 and my OBGYN told me having kids would be very challenging and I would definitely need a Doctors assistance to do so, It crushed me. I tried everything under the sun to lose weight because I thought that would help. Of course for those with PCOS you know the weight is just another symptom of the syndrome and doesn't stay off. In November of 2013 I went to a GBS seminar by my surgeon to get information. When they said the "cure rate" was in the 90 percentile with Bypass, I almost cried. Had my surgery in May of 2014 and I am currently down 67 lbs and seeing great improvements in my PCOS. I am hoping in a few more months it may be "cured". Worth everything I have gone through and given up!
