Hey I'm 22, married, No kids, from Va. I started my liquid diet today and I'm having surgery next Wednesday the 24th. I'm looking for some friends my age who are having theirs around the same time. Having a Vena Cava Filter put in tomorrow morning which is kind of scary. I've lost 52 pounds on my pre op diet. My hw was 398 and my cw is 347. I'm 5'8.

Hey sorry for just getting back to you. The first two days were rough. Surgery went great. My surgeon is Scott Watson in Johnson City, TN. I used weight watchers for the first 40 pounds, cut out all soda, anything with more than 10 grams of sugar per serving, low carb. Then i got stuck in a stall so i switched to 1200 calories a day, sugar free. For the last 20 pounds, home now and recovering well -
Absolutely. I've been dieting on my own,since April and I'm down 55 pounds and I already feel 1000x better. I am so ready for a new life. My highest weight was 398.6, current is 343.6 and I'm 5'8 wbu?

Mines the 24th, I'm 23. I was scared but I'm so determined to do this, I've Just decided not to be. It really helped that I had to have a Vena Cava filter (for blood clots) put in on Monday, so I got to go to the hospital and kinda have a dry run, the staff was awesome and it really put me at ease. Were gonna do great.

I was the exact same way, had 10000 hiccups along the way and when when I got approved and got a surgery date I still didn't believe it. Mines this coming Wednesday, and I guess I will finally believe it happened when I wake up from surgery. Its just hard to take in, that after 5 years of working towards something it's finally here.
