Ok considering either a new mattress or a memory foam top for our current mattress...anyone on here have experience with either the temperpedic mattresses or the memory foam tops?

Well.....my brachioplasty is scheduled for November 14th at 7AM!! WOOHOO! Getting nervous. I wanted to share the journey with you all. I am posting up today preop pix! Dr. Urquehart in Anniston, AL is doing my surgery. Total cost for me: $3400! Not too bad considering his standard cost is $3600!!! Oh and did I mention that I get 3 free laser treatments to my scars!!! WOOHOO!!!! This is what my arms look like now..... This is what he said they should look like after surgery...we shall see!!!!

MARS BAR SHAKE--2 scoops Visalus Vi-shape shake mix, 12oz almond milk, 2 tb sugar free choc pudding mix, 1 tb whipped cream cheese, 1 tsp vanilla extract and a drop of almond extract--- YUMMO!!!!

YUMMY SHAKE::::Cherry cheesecake shake: 2 scoops of Visalus Vi-Shape nutritional shake mix, 12 oz almond milk, 3/4 cup frozen cherries, 1 tb whipped cream cheese, 1 graham cracker sheet and a drop of vanilla extract... 310 calories!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

It is going well! I do still have some numbness but as long as noone touches my scars Im fine lol. It is just right along the upper scar line but it has gotten better. I don't even notice it hardly except for when I rub lotion on it. For some reason I have not been getting email updates from this site so I apologize that I have not posted on this thread in quite some time. When I get home this evening I will post up some recent pix. I love my arms I am so excited for the summer to get here lol. My scar line is still pretty red but Im pretty sure that will fade away over the next year or so. You can't even see my scar except from behind anyway lol. I was super worried about the scar too but when it came down to it I was more self concious of the bat wings that I am with a scar! I hope you all are doing well! More pix to come tonight!!! -

Mine decision to lose weight started after 2 events....FIRST my great grandad (who had dementia and I had not seen in a few yrs) said to me...Kanina I didnt even recognize you you've gotten so fat!! Second was when I got my wedding pictures back...I was MORTIFIED!!!!! I had the surgery the following January!!! BEST DECISION EVER!!! Now ppl say Kanina I didnt even recognize you you've gotten so skinny LOL -

ppl that say that suck and really need to learn how to be supportive of others.... say just bc theyve tried tons of diets and gained the weight back doesnt mean that you are going to bc the lapband is NOT a diet...it is a weight loss tool! So tell em to quit hatin!!!! -

I hate hate hate Protein shakes but I have an awesome recipe that is awesome for a smoothie: chocolate Peanute Butter shake: 1/2 cup fat free milk 1 cup of ice 1 scoop of vanilla protein mix 1 pack sugar free/diet or low calorie swiss miss chocolate 1 tbsp Peanut Butter (i use a little extra) 3 packs of splenda Blend well!!! Its awesome so enjoy!!! -

Well it looks as though my internal "dissolvable" stitches are not dissovling.....I got back to the PS thursday. The insicion is look GREAT but I have a stich that has worked its way to the surface....not too sure what he is going to do about that. -
I'm really saddened by people this Christmas and holiday season. You know its bad when little kids are asking Santa for jobs for their parents instead of toys. :-(
