I didn't know that they would use photos as proof period so thats new to me...I would just call them though cuz maybe that wont go into effect until after you already submit your stuff...good luck let us know how it goes!!!

Jane I would talk with your doc. But I too know a lot of ppl that take Prilosec regularly.....but again talk to your doc make sure nothings going on with your band!!

LOL, I swear I dont understand it...I havent really changed anything but its like 2weeks no wt loss, 2 weeks 1lbs lost every other day or say and then start over again...Im not complaining though :lunch:

Hey shawna, yeah a lot better actually no problems...I had someone else on here tell me I needed to go for any unfill NOW or my band was going to slip...yeah that is a possiblity but I told my doc if it happened even 1 more time I would come in but since I stopped taking my meds b4 bed I havent had the slightest prob!!! YAYYAAYAAY I hope its not rainy today i am sooooo sick of rain...(I have to drive all day in it) Well, you all have a GREAT day!!!

Thanks Sula, I promised my doc that if it happened again even just one time that I would come in for a slight unfil but since I stopped taking my meds b4 bed Im not have ANY problems at all...Thanks for your advice though I will def keep an eye on it!!

*How long until you're 18? Actually some insurance companies will cover those under 18....I think you just have to jump thru a couple more hoops than the rest of us....if you're about to turn 18 though you can call your insurance company see if its covered and then see what they require you to do b4 you can get approved. If you have to do the 6month doc supervised diet, the psych eval, the nutrition consult and your insurance wont cover until youre 18 well you could go ahead and get started bc the doc supervised diet takes 6months in itself....Good luck to ya! With you being so young I would def make sure that this is something you're ready for go to some support group meetings and listen to those who have had the surgery!!! no probs last night!!!!

I didnt experience "bandster hell" I just wasnt hungry after surgery...so liquids and mushies for me was no problem. I was tired a lot but that quickly went away...I lost a good bit of wt during that 2 weeks...I walked alot and it just wasnt that bad for me at all.

LOL what he said...trust me Im not saying it bc I do everything on that list either but its the truth and I need to hear it just as much as the next person....if we always had done what we shouldve done and not what we WANTED to do we wouldnt have gotten to the point of having to have WLS...so go get another fill and revamp yourself!!!!

My doc didnt give me a card but I usually just order an appetizer. Or I take leftovers home.I know theres a website you can go to to print a card if you want one but Ive just heard a lot of ppl on here say its a big hassle...that some rest. give them a hard time..

I dont remember really but I do remember 1 of those nights I forgot to take my meds until about 10min b4 I went to sleep...so really I think that was part of it and we tend to eat dinner late....so Im gonna make dinner earlier too...I just DO NOT want to get an unfill right now. Thanks everybody...I took Prilosec as soon as I got home today and then I took all my meds 2 hours later which was about 6ish soooooo....tonight is the test hope it goes well!!!

Do you smoke? I'd just quit now..... (I'm not being mean just trying to help!!!)I can give you my whole nursing perspective on smoking if you want :w00t: It really prohibits healing and with the band its all about a new you so just go ahead and add nonsmoker to your NSV list...lol that is if you even smoke :thumbup:

Yeah see I can see a slight unfill if I just had a fill like you did but my fill was like january 5th so I just wasnt willing to do an unfill just yet.....good luck to ya!

GGGGGggrrrr...So I called the doc with my little problem (mild reflux a couple of nights and waking up with pressure) EVEN though I didnt want to and he was immediately like you need an unfill now so come in tomorrow morning..well hello I cant just come in any old time...Im like what NO WAY...so I called jason to get his opinion.... SO I told the doc if it happens again I will come in but I wanna try meds first..they woudnt even call me in some nexium....we'll see how the otc prilosec does

I too wore sweats and a way too big t shirt..I wore a sports bra to the hospital but not home.....find something easy and baggy to wear

OK, so I have yet another question. Has anyone woke up in the middle of the night and felt like something was pulling their throat down to their stomach? I have done that the past 2 nights....Its like I can feel my band around my stomach and it is pulling......pretty uncomfortable...Im actually eating fine now so thats ok...but this is kinda worriesome.

YAY!! I like that...if its a regular T shirt I need a large. If they do womens t shirts get a xtra large...womens tshirst are usually a little shorter so I like that one better. THANKS!!!! How much are they? Will they make anything...zach wants some shirts made....
