My post op diet is divided into: 5 days of Clear liquids, 5 days of thin liquids, 10 days full liquids (which my fiance and I are at now), 10 days of mushies and then on to regular food. Its a little tough dealing with head hunger. Im craving crunchy food. Something substantial!! hahaha. But, for me, the loss is definitely a motivation to not cheat. Thanks again, and good luck!!!

Hello! Congrats on getting a date for surgery. There are TONS of great threads here that'll give you information about the procedure, recovery, fills, food, etc etc etc. I suggest checking out threads in General Discussion. Especially the BEFORE and AFTER pictures! That'll definitely motivate you!! I got my band Nov 23rd. As you'll see on my sig line, Ive lost 30 pounds. Its exciting!! Where are you getting banded? Are you on a pre-op diet?

Hey Kimberly! I got banded on the 23rd as well. Im feeling great! I can sleep on my side and all. My thing is... Im not hungry. Also, Im a Massage Therapist. Going back to work on Saturday. Im a little concerned... Anwyway, good luck on your journey!!

Its about 6pm in Mexicali. My fiance and I are at the hotel, trying to calm our nerves and starting to get really excited. Dr Aceves, Dr Campos, Ernesto (chaffeur) and Lucy are amazing! So glad to be here and on our way to a better life!

Hello Jennypoo, Well, we are finally back home. We were on the red eye from San Diego to Florida. Oy. Got home about noon. Showered, cleaned my stitches, got into bed and.... passed out! Just had some chicken broth. Yum. (I still think its the weirdest thing - enjoying broth... Just my first few days maybe??) You know, I bought 2 packs of Gas X, knowing that a lot of people here used it to help with the annoying gas afterwards, but... it didnt work for me. Finished a whole pack within a couple of days and even more gassy. Oh well. Just weird like that I guess. Good luck to you! 11 days! woohoo! :Banane11:

I have been looking into this procedure for a year and a half now. My fiance and I are finally prepared to do it! We are looking into getting it done in Mexico. I have contacted 4 offices. Hello everyone!!! Its about 2pm here in Mexicali and Im feeling great! Yesterday was a pain in the butt! I realized I have a LOW tolerance for pain. Dr Aceves, Dr Campos and staff are AMAZING. Thanks WASa! Thanks jennypoo. Oh, and for our "last dinner", we ate at the restaurant at the hotel. My fiance had curry Soup and rib eye steak, and I had ceasar salad and penne gelosia. Man, was it gooooood. We are now officially bandsters!!!! woot woot!
