My name is Maria, I am 51 and have had weight issues since I was 18. I was fine and thin until I had kids. (Mother of 3) when I was 37 I lost 100 pounds and felt great. I owe that all to exercise I became a exercise nut...I had my set backs though...my father passed away and gained back 40 pounds...then lost it again. years later I got divorced and very depressed and stopped exercising and gained just about everything back. My highest weight ever was 256. now at 51 my high was 244 that was a couple months ago. now I am 221 today. Surgery is in 5 days and I hope to get to at least 160 but I will take 150 anyday! I will make sure to exercise always...I know that is the key... I have a sit down job which sucks for me. Hard to take even 2 minutes to get up. But I will start to !
