Congrats on being sleeved!! I made cream of broccoli soup, and butternut squash soup.. Was sleeved dec.9th and am still working on them!! But have lost 25lbs so far..

It's a very small amount of cheese.. You'll have tiny bits, chew them thoroughly and you should be fine, I just made one tonight and it was great and I feel great!! So good to have another option besides soup and such! But if your concerned pls ask your doctor first! Enjoy!!

I'm second week as well and on Purred foods, I'm making "shelly's baked ricotta" here is the recipe! Happy holidays!! Shelly's Baked Ricotta 8 oz of Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 1 large Egg, beaten 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave

I too had my surgery on the 9th finally, literally just walked in the door. I too had complications with the drain in my biggest incision.. Hope you're feeling well!!

So I got the call that my surgery is @ 7:15 am Tuesday, I'm at my parents so they can take me early tom morning. They made egg salad for dinner ( Bc I hate egg salad) which was very thoughtful of them, but just the toast they're making smells so good lol.. So I'm taking the Xanax my doc prescribed for my nerves and am trying to go to sleep.. I'm so excited but at the same time can't wait for it all to be over.. See you all on the flip side

I'm getting mine done tomorrow, they just put a needle in a vein in your groin and its a tenon procedure.. Simple and easy, good luck!

Hello all, well I'm sick.. I don't know if I'm run down from working and running non stop or if I'm really sick, but i am very stressed!! I have my final apt with my PCP for clearance tonight and am scared he's not going to clear me.. And my surgery is in the 9th.. I just can't wait till the surgery is over and done with.. Anybody else going through this?

@@mzdee I'm on the 9th as well, just got the call for pre-surgical testing today.. It's soo real now.. Scared, excited all at the same time! Just ready for a new life good luck to you!!!

Hello everyone, I have less than a month till my surgery, I quit smoking a week ago and gained 4 lbs it is mandatory for everyone to quit smoking? Will they cancel my surgery? Thank you in advance!

I have to give up the patch, gum ect two days before, had to quit smoking a month before

So I just had my doc apt with my surgeon to sign consent for the surgery. I asked him if having nicotine in my system (or the help of quitting smoking aides) was he going to cancel my surgery, he said I only have to be nicotine free two days before.. I can sleep easy now thank you all!

I was going to get my surgery there as well, my gf works there and she said you get private rooms.. We are very close!! Any reason you're going all the way out to riverhead?? I heard Mather and St.charles had good reps

Omg!! @@Melody Wright, the first few day I was doing so well and it's true the busier I am the less I think about it, but today is a killer.. I can't stop craving a cigarette:( I've been having a really hard time lately and stopping smoking (which I know is good for me) is a killer.. I have the patch, nicotine gum and an e cig. Not all at the same time of course but..this is the hardest thing I've ever done!!!
