The incision where they pulled out the stomach is the worst pain ever for me. It's terrible. I know it hurts but walking and getting the muscles to move helps in the long run, as well as helping with gas.

Protein shakes should be allowed. You don't get any protein with that other stuff. Unless it's like a day or two day deal. I had to do it for two weeks. I made Protein Shakes in a blender with banana, crushed ice, it was thick and great. Get used to it because I'm on day 3 post op and that's all you "eat" anyway for a week.

I was only able to get in about 20 oz of fluids today total. 30 G protein and some jello (2 oz). I just feel full and gassy, can't drink much more unfortunately.

How are you doing so much two days after surgery and eating puréed foods? That's crazy. I can barely walk my stomach exit incision kills me. I'm ordered to stay on all liquids and then yogurt etc...for two weeks and no exercise whatsoever other than walking. I'm simply AMAZED. Your sleeve needs time to heal etc...didn't they give you any rules to follow?

I felt like I was getting a fever as I left the hospital dish charged. I ended up having a 99.7 fever that went away the next day. Tylenol/Codeine meds seemed to knock it down. I think it's a symptom of anesthesia, stress etc...My BP is kinda high as well although the hospital didn't seem so concerned. I'd watch it overnight it should go away. How high is your fever? If it gets above 101-102 I'd call your doctor for sure.

Hello all, I was sleeved yesterday Sept 10 as well 10am. I slept off and on almost the whole day in the hospital, came home tonight Thursday Sept 11. I have a few issues I'm kinda concerned about. My BP is high here at home on my BP machine (150/105) and I had a slight fever, I thought I felt warmer than usual. Got up to 99.5, not that high but gets kicked down because of pain meds (Tylenol-Codeine) every four hours. Other than that, drinking so far sips, isn't that easy either. I hope it gets better? I like others have one incision on the right that really is sore, and I sometimes have a sharp pain here and there from gas I'm thinking.
