Hey everyone, my name is Ericka! I am from indianapolis, indiana and I'm 25. I have started the ball rolling with weight loss surgery. I had a consultation when I was 19 but decided I wasn't mature enough at that point to make this kind of long term commitment. After partying like a lot of 20 something's do and moving out on my own my weight didn't get any better it snowballed into soemthing I always said would never happen. One day I stepped on the scale at a check up and 300 smacked me in the face. I needed to make a change. I found this site in hopes of some support in my started journey and some people who know what I'm going through and advise. I have met my surgeon and am in the supervised diet phase for insurance.
