  3. Anyone have cramps/spasms after eating or drinking ? I also had 2 episodes last night that woke me up out of dead sleep. Idk if this is normal or not but if so am I doing something wrong or is there anything I can do to control this ? Help !!
  4. Hey yall I am back home sleeved on Tuesday. I was supposed to go home yesterday but late yesterday afternoon my chest pain and stomach pain was pretty bad. My blood pressure was fluctuating a lot also my O2 was low at night so I slept with oxygen. Dr decided I should stay another night ... He removed my drain and almost instantly all pain was gone except for incision sights. But I am happy to say I am now in my own bed still a little sore and nautious but meds are helping. Waiting for my awesome mom to bring over homemade chicken noodle soup (just broth of course) but I can't wait ????. My only complaint is the cramping when I drink or sip soup hoping that fades as time goes on. Also I was happy when I saw I lost 13lbs on my 2 week diet can't wait to get my weight done at 2 week check up ! Hope everyone else is doing good. Please post experiences and I will also try to stay up to date with my posting !
  5. Update my bloodwork came back normal today and I have to be at the hospital for 5 am ????! But I am super excited and now a bit more nervous it's all "real" now haha. Good luck and prayers to everyone for tomorrow surgeries can't wait to start hearing results !!
  6. GL to all the sleevers today! Prayers for you and your families for a safe and speedy recovery and for the new phase of your journeys. I am going get my blood work redone in just a few minutes and I look forward to my surgery tomorrow.... It's here finally ????.
  7. Oct 7th it's almost here!! So many emotions! Hope to stay in touch with everyone. Prayers for all. I was called yesterday and told my white blood count was a little high so I have to repeat my bloodwork on Monday morning fingers crossed it will be normal so surgery can proceed on Tuesday.
  8. Daidai I honestly don't know how long. I started the process at the end of June and went through my 3 months of required visits with dietitians and behavioral aids. My drs office I assume submitted the request to Cigna and it's probably been a month now that I actually saw paperwork that I am approved for surgery on the 7th. I know someone who also has Cigna and has had the surgery and no problems being accepted. I hope you don't have any issues! I met with my surgeon today and did my final bloodwork and pre registered for surgery I can't wait ) !!
  9. I have Cigna OAP also and had no problems at all. Of course I didn't have to deal with them personally my doctors office dealt with them. But I did receive a cc copy of my surgery acceptance letter just the other day and my surgery is Oct 7. Good luck to you on your journey.
