Hello everyone i was sleeved the 6 jan 15 down 53 lbs I've been stalled up my excerise plan water and protein shakes are still hard for me to drink due to lactose intolerance any suggestions

Take Zantac 150 it works in 30 mins i asked the pharmacist which one was the best i felt like a new person after taking this give it a try

How was your first day out i went out today also my first day out i went to the grocery store i was a little worn out after stomach just feels like i did a million sit ups

Yes it works but i just dont like it doctor wont give the Phenergan bcos he said it makes us too drowsy

Nope they didnt want to give it to me i was sleeved 1-6-15 they gave me ondansetron dissolve tablet and it really doesnt dissolve that well it gets really mushy like a cotton ball

Im going to look foward to running again

Oh yeah you might wanna go get you a 10oz sippy cup that is what im using less air going in with it better than a shot glass or medicine cup

Hey it doesn't matter if its scented they probly are going to give you something at the hospital to prep with also i had the three packages of surgical wipes I had to wipe down from head to toe with i took my cell phone charger ipad they had free wifi extra set of pjs to walk the halls with personal hygiene items also i would take some chap stick for your lips afterwards they are going to be dry i found out the next morning when my surgeon came in to check on me that i had hiatal hernia repaired during the surgery i did my swollening test the same day then i was able to walk with assistance down the hall im hope doing ok just gassy but i walk four times in the morning from the farest room to the front door to try to move the gas around im okay at home im drinking have my pillows and my heating pad i love taking a hot shower the hot water on my sore areas feel great

@@Fallinstar i have alot of gurgling and the sounds from my stomach are awful and embarrassing my husband is making jokes talking kids watch out your mom is ready to blow lol as much as i would enjoy the laugh i wouldn't dear do it due to the tenderness

I know what everyone is going thru i had surgery on 6 jan i dont remember doing my swallowing test that same day as of surgery i was eating chicken broth i hate it sugar free popsicles are too sweet crystal light too sweet also my favorite is cream of potatoe soup blended in food processor and strained in metal sifter i love my decaffeinated coffee and tea ive been doing 3 to 4 laps in my house to get rid of the gas my poor husband and kids suffering severely lol something i found helpful i take half of my liquid pain meds before i eat then i take the other half when im done no nausea medication is needed

Had surgery on 6 jan 15 i feel okay just have a lot of gas rumbling in my tummy ive been walking walking just a little tired also will keep yall posted

Hey thats my surgeon also dr fass i was sleeved yesterday 1/ 6/15 im currently in the hospital ive walked the hall when i got to my room but had to stop bcos i was nausea and had pain

Hello everyone i was sleeved 1-6-15 in Austin TX st davids woke up and honestly i said holey hell my gas pain was terrible ive been able to get up and walk but im feeling quite dizzy ill keep everyone posted are we going to have another thread

Yes ive tried it and took it back it clumps in everything doesnt really mix well i had the peanut butter cookie protein shake it was really really sweet for me it taste exactly like a peanut butter cookie but too thick even im 16oz of water im not sleeved yet will be on 6 jan 15 i was just trying it out but i had to take it back vitamin shoppe let me exchange for something else so with that being said if this is too sweet for me and i havent had the surgery yet this peanut butter cookie flavor might cause someone to have dumping

Hi everyone I did my pre registration at the hospital yesterday 12/30/14 my surgery is on 6 jan 15 @0700 been on my preop diet doesn't really suck im so exciting almost there !!!! Happy new year everyone

I start my liquid diet on Tuesday also
