Yes it was great.. I had my surgery in March.. St Mary's is at the southern most tip in Maryland

What can I do with...sweet peppers?
Chrystee replied to Inner Surfer Girl's topic in Regular foods (stage 4)
I like them cooked with onions in olive oil and salt and pepper. -
I love protein shakes, AND exercise..

She's really my husband's friend not my friend....none of our other friends like her Sounds like there might be a deeper issue here.. Why is she still your husband's friend, and why'd he ignore your request? I'd be mad. Do they have something going on, possibly?

As a side note, I now realize HOW MUCH rice and stuff I was making pre-surgery. I used to make a huge pot full, now I probably make 1/4 of what I used to.

He did suggest serving them again, and I do at times. I use instant rices (ie- goya yellow rice, Lipton rice sides etc) because they don't care for white rice. Can't really 1/2 those. We make those too, and we do a lot of bulk cooking anyway.. So, I would just heat them up the next day and serve it with the meal.. I think you should address his comments with him, and ask him whats going on? Also, maybe think of creative veggie replacements.. mashed butternut squash (then you can have some and its kind of like a starchy side).. Salads.. etc.. Honestly, I don't believe anyone NEEDS a starch side, and its usually junky anyway, so maybe two veggies.. salad and a cooked one day, then the rice the next..

If you are Lol see another example of different things working for different people! I recently tried a pair of mizuno racing flats w minimal soles and couldn't hack it! I like some cush/support. Lots of running stores will have a 30 day or even 60 day return policy if the shoes don't work outIt takes awhile to get used to it, but its much like barefoot running.. a lot of people do not have adequate foot support from too much cushioning.I run pretty much injury free in the shoes I wear now. Is there another reason I should switch? Nah, if you are happy with what you have.

Any kind that is minimal in the sole. New Balance has good ones.. Had a lot of foot and shin pains previously and they went away after adjusting to a minimal sole (prior to surgery).

I love pickles, and eat the frequently.. I also use the juice to help after extreme workouts.

Did I have surgery and become a negative person or is it just hormones?
Chrystee replied to jenlovestim's topic in The Gals' Room
I agree, normal.. Your hormones are all flustered too, esp when you are in the rapid weight loss timeframe. Exercising hard has helped me a lot. -
gorgeous dress!

I started mine the day before surgery, and I was fine! In fact, even better cause the drugs took away my cramps, lol. I just wore big pads.

Obviously, we don't know her, but I feel like she is using you..

Nice! Dang! I'm stuck at 94 pounds! You look great! -
I follow a lower carb diet, around or under 50 carbs a day. I try to avoid most sugar and grains. My last time I successfully lost weight I followed whole 30/paleo. I will probably go back there. Except I still rely on protein shakes, so I need a bit of dairy. Although, I never feel like I'm "on a diet" anymore. Heavy cardio and weight days I can eat a bit more carbs.

I swear Indie, I don't stalk you! I'm going on travel for 2 weeks Saturday for work, and I'm nervous.. I'm planning on bagging up some of my Protein powder as well. I LOVE the power crunch bars. LOVE THEM. They are > than Quest bars to me!
