That's your surgery date? What are you having done? Our surgeon suggested it at my one year appointment to go ahead and make my plastics for my next follow up(which was 3 months after. It will be about a little over a year and half out if I have it in November. -

Yes.. its crazy.. I never had a sex drive.. and now I want it all the time. He is being patient, and we have done some fun stuff with others.. I have had a few highs and lows.. had a couple depressing moments.. but all in all I'm SO MUCH happier than before.

FOAM ROLLING. The best advice I ever got was to get a good quality foam roller and use it before and after runs!

I started running in increments.. then got to a mile, then 2 miles, now I run 5-6-9 miles at a time.. you will get there.. but start out slow, and consistency is key.. 3-4 days of running a week.

75 mile bike race on Saturday! Nerves are setting in!

I had a hard time too, still do.. I never had this problem prior to surgery.. Lots of water, and stool relaxers.

@Chrystee - Yes I am lucky. I am in Texas, so it is a quick flight down there so it's easy to go for just 3 or 4 nights. AND that was when I had a VERY good job - from which I got laid off in December.
I have a new job which I am lucky to have but SO much less money that likely those trips will dwindle - at least for a while. Hope you get to go back! -
