You are losing great. I know some who have lost much less than that.. Just keep going.. and try not to compare yourself.. Your loss will slow down eventually anyway, just keep following your plan.
-
Good to know.. that's how my last month was.. the least amount that I've lost so far.. so logically I know that its not that much of a big deal, just worrisome.
-
I'm sure.. I'm up a couple pounds too.. which I don't know is from my workout this weekend, or what. But annoying.
-
I get nervous that this is it.. and I'm not ready to be done. Some days I don't even feel like I look any different..

Maybe I should not have surgery?

How old is the baby? My friend had it done and she has a disabled 2 year old that she has to completely care for. She had a couple friends come sit with her for a couple days since she couldn't lift her, but other than that she was fine. My son was almost 2 when I had the surgery, and he can walk, and he was fine. All you would need is someone to take care of the child while you are in the hospital, and your husband could do that if you had no one else.. -

Don't let some a-hole dictate your future. You do YOU. -
How are all the March 2015 sleevers doing?

I'm down just about 90 pounds.. and it definitely slowed down A LOT this month. -
I feel the same.. and sitting in a bit of a stall, which doesn't help!

Cod is a funky type of fish..

9 months out from VSG and so disappointed in myself! HELP!

Instead of beating yourself up and blaming yourself, make a plan. What exercise will you do on each day, and what will it be.. 3 times a day walk 10 minutes if you can.. Whatever you can do.. and get back on track.. Track your foods. You can do this. -
I love her.. Biggest Loser makes her seem like a monster (cutting out the parts where she is consoling someone, and putting in all the screaming cuts, which is why she left the show). Check out her podcast though. She was heavy when she was younger. She actually really cares about people.

I love fish! Salmon is one of my favorites, but I also like flounder. The best thing to do is research how to cook it. Fish shouldn't "smell" like fish.. it really shouldn't smell at all. Smelly fish is old fish. Try to buy fresh caught wild fish, and not farm raised. And really research how to cook it. Most fish is terrible if its overcooked. Salmon shouldn't be cooked all the way through.

I'll never forget when I was listening to a podcast by Jillian Michaels (I know some hate her, but I love her).. and she said, the muscle makes you gain myth is total bunk.. its something people to say to make someone feel better and that its really, really hard to gain that much muscle.
-
Don't know if anyone still has this issue, but throw 1/2 cup of white vinegar in the wash.. It helps!
-
No, not inches lost.. I believe that.. I mean the muscle weighs more than fat theory.. I've been weightlifting for quite some time, so I don't think that's why I'm losing less weight than the previous few months.. I think I'm just in a bit of a stall.
-
Fewer definitely.
-
Yea, that's why I haven't been too worried.. but I do need to watch what I'm eating a little better, cause some no-no's have creeped into the diet. I've always heard the muscle theory and I feel like that is bunk unless I was at goal.
-
Yea, I know.. I also need to be watching my carbs better.
-
I've been around 1000 or so, and I work out quite a bit too. This has been my worst loss month so far..
-
Interesting replies.. My weight loss has slowed a bit lately.. at 6 months.. maybe I need to increase.
-
Sure, anyone would prefer to lose weight without surgery, and maintain the loss.. but the odds are like 5% that you would be able to. I hemmed and hawed for over 10 years wanting the surgery, and really just wasted 10 years of my life. I'm much happier.

It is amazing despite feeling like you have many friends, how alone one can feel..

How about drop in daycare? I was ok after about a week. If she can walk or crawl enough, you'd be ok.

Good to hear.. my heart rate sits around 44 resting, and Doctors keep seeming alarmed at this. I also exercise a lot, running and cycling.. -

Eat sugar, hungry an hour later.. eat more sugar/carbs, hungry an hour later.. a never ending saga.. the kids will eat through that so fast.. and everyone will wonder why they are so heavy.
