Hello, my name is Rich. I've not had my surgry yet. It will happen in a couple of weeks. I'm on the phase II liquid diet, and it's really not that bad. I've had weight issues all my life and I've finally decided that enough is enough. I need help to lose weight. I have a wife and son that I need me to be around longer.

I joined BariatricPal by chance actually. I was looking for delivery times for Unjury products, when I started reading some of the posts in other parts of the site. When I saw that others were having the same concerns about the surgery, I decided to join. My doctor recommened joining a support group anyway because there was going to be a lot of changes.

I have a few different hobbies. I like video games on the console or computer, reading sci-fi and fantasy books and playing with my son, who is 5. I also love cooking. I went back to school last year for a Culinary Arts degree and figured that I should go through with the surgery to help with the extra calories I have take in from food tasting.
